BUFFALO DriveStation 1TB 3.5" External Hard Drive with Full Disk Encryption

This HDD comes pre-formatted in FAT32. The size is as-expected for a 3.5" HDD and uses an external AC adaptor. I was getting around 28-30 MB/s on a HDD-to-HDD transfer.I like the software in that it allows you to choose whether you want encryption, turbo, and power-save. Problem is, it comes pre-loaded in a virtual drive. That virtual drive always loads first which causes a delay before the actual drive is seen by the PC. I'm tempted to format the entire HDD just to lose the virtual drive but I'm afraid I might lose the pre-sets.Overall, good drive that performs as expected but I just hate that virtual drive.And, for those interested, I've tried it on my Wii without any spin-down problems.
