Believed I could use this to to hook up my xbox to pc from composite to vga = either this item does not perform this way or is defective. Cant come across any info pointing either way.

In order to get this to perform effectively you will want to obtain an additional device that will transcode the RGB signal into a true Component Signal. Hope this aids these who purchased this.

Tried to use this device to display my laptop on my Tv Monitor(VGA TO COMPOSITE VIDEO) and i could not get the device to operate at all, seems as if the device is defective or was never intended to be utilised in that manner! Either way, i couldn't get a video signal from the RCA composite jacks...
