BYTECC C6EB-10P 10 ft. Enhanced 550MHz Patch Cables

Lengths not as advertisedEnd can be hard to unlatch when plugged in I ordered up about one hundred of the Bytecc cables in 7' & ten' lengths and in distinct colors and what you order is not what you get for length. Most of the 7' cables had been more like 6'-6" though 1 group was 9'. 10' have been also about 6" short. If you are going to sell me a 7' cable - make it 7'. A lot of my 7' runs have been an inch or two short so I applied ten' cables... Either the operator was sleeping at the machine or they just have poor quality handle. Either way, they all worked so far with no "bad" ones; but I have not verified them for speed. The length difficulties make me think I in all probability must although. I should have identified superior due to the fact I have had the same challenge with their shorter cables. I will get out my gear and do some cable spot checks and if there is a issue soon after I check I will post again.

Performs just like it's supposed to. Great cost. General great good quality. None. I bought black - 15 ft, purple - ten ft, green - 10 ft, and blue - 6 ft for household network in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Not sure why some of the other folks are whining about the snag protector boots. I haven't had any troubles. They are about the easiest to unplug that I've ever seen. I like them. When it operates, it operates. 10ft is a great length- color is a great touch. Ordered 3 of these to run gigabit through a DI-825 router. Two cables worked fine with 9k jumbo frames at 1000mbps but one particular kept auto negotiating to 100mbps. Confirmed faulty cable by switching ports and getting exact same benefits. Other cat6 cable operates fine. 1 failure out of three? You be the judge. For this cost, these need to not fail to run gigabit speeds.
