Belkin 8-Port Network Switch
Cons:alternating LED's are a bit odd.. not used to that, but that's not very important. Arrangement of ports in the back is also a bit different than usual. Might be a tad troublesome if trying to plug in cables without seeing it. (4 on top row but flipped upside down, 4 on the bottom row)Orange lights for indication scared me for a second, as they're usually green on other routers/switches - but that's normal when a device is connected for this switch.
Pros:Easy to set up, decent size so it doesn't get in the way. Does what it's supposed to do. |

Cons:No wireless, no gigabit, no NAT

My housemates are using this device downstream from our wireless router to get more ports. No complaints, just make sure you know what you're getting and what you're not. |
Set it up in my office since there weren't enough ports on my router.. worked as soon as I plugged in in, nothing else was necessary.
