Got this for a secondary powerbar on my system and it works great. No major complaints. The USB aren't the fastest but I would trust them over a $1 charger from china. |

I bought this protector on discount for $15.99, its a good price with its specs and 2A USB ports. However, the product had poor build quality and feel cheap with housing by filmy plastic. The main power switch is like a seesaw, not being firmly fixed at either end. The "Power Cord Manager" located on the bottom of the surge protector to keep the cables neatly organized, the design was suppose to have the cable run between the power switches but the USB ports are in the way which make its almost unusable. |

Cons:Surge protector is not Black as shown in the picture.
Pros:This comment isn't about the performance of the surge protector but I still consider this a pro. I ordered this surge protector and when I picked it up, it was white. I really wanted Black so I contacted customer service. Adrian contacted me back and was extremely helpful. He reordered the surge protector and I was able to swap the surge protector. Unfortunately, the new surge protector is still not Black but is actually grey but Adrian's efforts and customer service was definitely excellent enough for me to comment on my experience with him. Comment:
As mentioned in the Pros, the colour of the surge protector is actually grey so if you really want Black, this is not the surge protector you want but NCIX has excellent customer service. Only had the surge protector for one day so I can't really comment on performance but so far so good. |

I bought this cause it has a surge protector, lots of outlets and two USB ports that I can charge my ipad and cell phone in my home office, but the placement of the USB ports is slightly blocked by the position of the cord wrap. |

Pros:USB charges everything I can throw at it. powers 3x240W RMS, 160W RMS plate amps, 770W Onkyo amp, PS3, 46" TV. Comment:
I didn't need rj-11, rj-45 or coax protection, just some plugs and some way to charge my USB device with all my components powered down, PS3 controllers to be exact. Have 2 plate amps powering 2x12" subs and another 2 powering bass shakers, 110W x 7 surround sound. lets just say Crysis 3 thumps! I am fortunite enough to own a Optoma GT750E projector, altho not hooked up to this. As a no frills surge protector this fits the bill just great, highly recommended. |
