Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:
-Swivel button broke easily-Loosens easily when plugging in something on the far end from the wall plug-Larger than expected
Pros: -Large wattage capacity (1800W)-Portable-less than $10 when purchased Comment:
I've been using Belkin power bars for a while and they've been pretty sturdy and stable. Not much to say about power bars since they wither do their job or don't.However, this power bar I have a few extra comments. The rated wattage is quite good for such a small unit. It can power a full tower computer even though it's mostly meant for travel (ie. probably a laptop and accessories). Travel-wise... it's a little large. The packaging shows it being placed in a small little pouch on the side of a travel case while I highly doubt it would realistically fit in there. Another con is the wall plug in portion. It's to the one side of the unit and makes the unit protrude a bit from the wall so when plugging in a device from the far end it causes the unit to slip out of the wall unless held in place while doing so. The swivel feature on the plug wasn't designed very well either. In order to rotate the plug I needed to push down really hard and once I did, the rotation button didn't pop back up into place (which stops the plug from rotating) so now it's just sort of stuck inside. |

Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:
The plug is at the end of the unit instead of in the middle
Pros: Charges my devices and gives me 3 wall ports Comment:
Back in the day devices used to come in massive boxes with wall chargers. Now it seems like everything gets charged off of your computer which is all fine and dandy unless you don't want to leave your noisy gaming rig on all night to charge your ipod. This does the job quite handily. I take it on trips with me and in hotel rooms with only one spare outlet I can plug this thing in so I have room to charge my laptop as well as my phone and my zune |

Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:
no real weakness, although USBport only provides 500mA (same as any usb hub), but would be nice if it was 1A
Pros: Great product. Very handy and compact,I own 3 ;) Comment:
This is a gread product. very compact.Good value when bought at any price, although I only bought it at $12. I woen 3 of these. And I got my dad to buy one.It handy how hte plugs swivels. was a life saver in a hotel as I had to use the swivel. Also nice to have usb ports to charge your cell phone. saves me from loosing my little usb charger for my iphone.I am happy with this product, although it would be nice if the usb ports prodided 1A power, as they are only 500mA each. Not too many devices use 1A though, so it would be only nice to have them to save me in the future when I require them. Most likely a tablet will use 1A on charge when currently in use. Would be nice if the 3 prong plug could retract. Although the swivel is pretty cool. So its almost compact. |

Cons:
500mA USB output will not charge an iPad
Pros: portable, great for travel Comment:
have traveled with this many times and has always come in handy. great for making friends at the airport. USB output not high enough to charge an iPad-solved by carrying the iPad's ac adapter.) if you are looking for something that will charge an iPad via USB, make sure it has 1000mA output. |

Pros: Three in one. Surge protector,Power plugs and usb ports$10 during sale Comment:
This is my second one. They come in handy when traveling or even at home when you don't want your computer running just so it charges a USB device.I have seen smaller versions but since I get most my stuff at NCIX :) |

Cons:
Will not charge iPad
Pros: Great for notebook, mp3 player and phone Comment:
Perfect for traveling. Connected it in the plug on a lamp at a hotel last weekend, kept my phone charged and my laptop protected all weekend long. Wouldn't charge my iPad through the USB ports, good thing I brought the power brick. Often available at $9.99 on sale. Will definitely get more for family, friends and my clients at work as gifts. |

Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:
- Regular price is rip off.- It is bigger than it seems but you can still put it easily in a purse or bag.
Pros: - Extremly useful for charging your USB stuff.- Price on sale (10$)- It even have a high value of surge protection.- Easy to transport anywhere. Comment:
Don't get yourself wrong, the #1 reason you buy this isn't for the surge protection or the fact you can transport it easily, it's only because you can charge your mp3 player, cellphone... anywhere you go and then, if it happens to do anything else it's free bonus.I bought this as a christmas gift for my best friend since she always forget to charge her iPod so she can now do it anywhere she goes. At 10$ it was realllly worth it! |

Cons:
a bit wobbly
Pros: surge protector3 power portstwo usb portsrotating plug Comment:
Was looking for something to charge an mp3 player. this works well plus it doubles as a surge protector. pricematched to something like half this price. The plug into the wall rotates more than 360 degrees so there is a lot of flexibility with the direction you can plug it inmy only complaint is it seems a bit wobbly in the wall. |

Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:
Bit unstable when plugging into the last power slot
Pros: Small Form Factor2xUSB Charging Ports1xUSB A to Mini A Cable Comment:
Have 3 of these around the place. They have 3 sockets for power, 2 USB charger ports, and one USB cable for charging. Can usually be had on sale for $10. Pretty good warranty from Belkin. The only weakness is the last socket. Because the surge protector plugs in on one end, the other end is inherently unstable, and you need to support with your other hand if you're plugging something in. |

Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:
non-retractable prongs
Pros: Small, 2xUSB charging ports and 3 AC ports Comment:
Great little product for those of you that need to travel with electronic equipment. The size will make it easy to fit in most laptop bags. The only thing I would change is to have a retractable prong - they sometimes get in the way when storing. |

Cons:
-A lot bigger than it looked in the picture
Pros: -Plug rotates to help avoid covering plugs-Looks sturdy-Surge protection Comment:
A great device for charging your iphone with lots of flexibility because of the swiveling plug. I had hoped to pair this with a travel adapter to take on the road, but its not as portable as I had hoped. Still, works great charging my phone at the office.Would buy again. |

Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:
If you plug a big adapter it will eat 1 outlet.
Pros: Small, lightweight, portable, protects your costly devices, 3 outlets, 2 usb chargers (I don't know if it works with iPhones, probably yes). Rotates nicely at 360 degrees! Comment:
Overall, I bought 6 of these, 2 a year ago and 4 now, in total I gave 2 gifts, one to grandma the other to a friend who just bought a new laptop. This Belkin product is ideal for laptop carrying travelers.I got these extremely cheap, may I say $10. Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:
A little bulkier than dedicated USB power supply
Pros: Multiple Function Comment:
This is a great idea for travellers who are concerned about voltage stability ie. grid supply voltage spikes or other induced voltage spikes and the risk to equipment plugged into the outlet. It would appear that a major voltage spike, ie lightning would likely not be arrested, but the locally induced spikes should be suppressed. Overall a good idea especially at the sale price |

Cons:
Not mechanically stable.
Pros: Comes with USB (charge only) cable Comment:
There's nothing much to say about this. It's a good surge protector for its price (pm or wait for sale, I won't purchase it at $30).They should make the wall prong at the center of the unit instead of the side. This would make it a little more stable when plugging in or pulling out power cables. |

Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:
-Huge!-superfluous packaging-included mini-USB cable is neutered
Pros: -functions as described-includes free mini-USB cable Comment:
The few times I've purchased Belkin products, I've been pleasantly surprised. But this one was a bit of a disappointment. Don't get me wrong, this thing works... but it's just not very well designed. In an attempt to simplify things I will refer to this device as the SAUCD (surge-arresting/USB-charging device). The box it came in turned out to be about 25% bigger than those they use for an iPhone and all its accessories. Upon opening this, the SAUCD rolled out, and for a minute I stared at it unbelieving - could this really be the object I was looking for? The SAUCD measures 125cmX40cmX50cm, roughly equivalent to a 900MHz cordless handset from the early '90s. There is a (ridiculous) picture on the back of the box, presumably to demonstrate how "mini" and "compact" this is. It shows someone inserting the SAUCD into the flat pouch on a laptop case's back, and what's worse is they are inserting it sideways. If you align the actual device against the picture, the end he is still holding above the bag is where the plug is, adding another 3cm to the already 50cm depth. Completely unrealistic.Other box contents: two (2) folded up pieces of 8.5"x11" paper with generic instructions and warranty info on them, one (1) USB-A to mini-USB cable (labelled "power only cable"), and a most-of-a-box cardboard insert, to keep the other contents from rattling around in all the empty space. Now, one of the key benefits of recharging a modern device via USB, is that you only need one device cable for power and data... Unless, that is, you accidentally bring only the included cable with you: only 2 of 4 pins are connected. Yes, you can charge your device with it, but you'll need a separate cable for data. I can't fathom why Belkin would create this annoyingly-single-purpose cable, which you will be unable to tell apart from your real USB cables once the tiny sticker comes off. If they were worried about surges on the USB ports, they could just as easily have left the data pins unconnected inside the SAUCD and provided a normal cable. As for the functioning of the SAUCD: There is a button you're supposed to press to rotate the plug. The button doesn't have any tangible "press", but that's ok because it rotates just as easily when it's not held down (this could damage it, according to the user guide). A green LED shows you the fuse is still connected. Since the plug doesn't retract there's a handy (read: easily lost) plastic cover to stop the plug from scratching other items. This doubles as a support stand by inserting it into a slot on the SAUCD. This can be helpful to stabilize it - despite its size, the back of the plug housing still sticks out of the main body. Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:
Regular price is a little bit high
Pros: Portable, small, charged USB devices Comment:
Got this 3 days ago for $9.99 (before tax). Mainly for my GPS which does not include A.C. charger, but can be charged through USB port. Small size good for travelling. Plug rotate every 90 degree for convenience. The only problem is that it does not charge my iPod shuffle directly, however, it will charge if I add a USB hub in between. My GPS works fine with this device. |

Belkin BZ103050 Mini Surge Protector 3 Outlets 2 USB Charging Ports
Cons:A bit expensive.
Pros:Compact.Surge protection.Rotatable plug. Comment:
Picked this up on sale before the Christmas holidays and it works great. This is very useful for traveling because you can plug in 3 items and 2 other devices that can charge via the USB cable reducing the # of adapters you need to bring along. I've tried charging a MP3 player and blackberry through the USB ports and they worked just fine. The plug also rotates in case you need to change the angle. It is a bit expensive at the regular price but a great deal when on sale. |
