Belkin Conserve Socket Power Saving Device
Cons:- The one with the On/Off switch only was on sale at just 5$ and this one 10$ but it is clearly not worth 2x the price just because it has a timer. It also takes much more space so you can only use it on the top plug on the wall. Regular 25$ price is a real joke.- Wish it wasn't only 30min // 3 Houres // 6 Houres. Was it so hard to put 30-45-60-120min also?- There is no Off switch, simply an "On" on this model which is quite strange.
Pros:- Saves energy and money.- Less hassle than unplugging the wire everytime you finish using something. |

Belkin Conserve Socket Power Saving Device
Cons:Expensive, for what it does
Pros:Encourages consolidation of menial tasks Comment:
I use it as a charging station - instead of digging through a box of wall-warts and unplugging one thing to replace it with another, I keep everything to charge my devices plugged into a power-bar, which is plugged into this. When a phone or a tablet needs juice, I gather up all of my other devices and recharge them at the same time. Once the cycle is done, everything is ready to go and all of those transformers are disconnected from the mains without any further effort. |
I only 1 of this, for the coffee machine as I took 5 of those that were without timer because they were 5$ instead of 10$.
