I've been using this lap desk periodically over the past couple of weeks with my 15.6in laptop. There is plenty of room for this laptop with room to spare--it would likely fit most 17in laptops fine. There isn't enough room left over for using a mouse on the desk surface, so you're pretty much stuck with your laptop's built-in track pad. This desk is not very tall, compared to something like a Belkin CushTop (which I also tried) so it is more comfortable for me since it doesn't raise the laptop too high that it's uncomfortable to type on. It's wide enough to sit comfortably on your legs and the top material keeps your laptop in place fairly well. I wish it were a bit cheaper.

My kid uses it for her laptop- no problems she really likes it

My wife has her netbook with her all the time whatever the room of the house we are in, thanks to this product. Light and easy to transport. This kind of stuff should be cheaper at my opinion.
