Pretty Good

You can always be reached with this phone but the quality is a little lacking. I still like it but voip has a little way to go yet. |

Works well

Definitely a must for heavy Skype users. I have no complaints so far, the product works as advertised. Text input takes a little time to get used to it, but you'll eventually get the hang of it. If it was priced a little lower, I would consider buying it for a couple of friends and family members too. |

Works as advertised

Bought that phone, connected to my old good wired router - and it just works. I had no need to set Static IP address or mess with any other network configurations on device or on router. Entered my Skype user name and password and I am in. All set. Quality of device and of conversations is excellent. I am not subscribed to Skype paid services, so tested it on 1-800 numbers. Works like a charm. I do not have landlines at home, have to work from home occasionally and when I work from home I have to call to business meetings. Doing it from cell phone is not very convenient as well as my cell phone provider kindly charges per minute cell phone fees for calls to 1-800 numbers. With Skype, calling 1-800 numbers is free and with Belkin phone I have a convenience of a very good quality phone conversations and can use speakerphone. This is relatively expensive phone among Skype devices, but all in all can't be happier I finally decided to spend money on it. |

Good internet skype phone.

So far very happy with the voice clarity (both handset and hand's free) Setup was relatively easy for a technical person (Setup with static IP). The base could be a bit heavier. You have to hold the base before you pick up the phone. |

Good value for money

Configuring was a bit of a challenge. The manual-on-CD does not give much information of value for a non-technical person. As regards the unit itself, DHCP does not seem to agree with it and I am using it with Static IP address. Once configured, the unit performs quite well. All-in-all, at this point I am happy. It remains to be seen how it performs in the long run. |
The phone could not have been easier to set up: plug it in and use it. It literally took less than 3 minutes to set up, and most of that time was spent crawling around on the floor trying to plug it in. (I'm not as spry as I once was!) The menus are easy to navigate, and easy to read. The only thing that's a bit quirky is that I can't seem to edit contact information on the phone. Luckily, my computer is on the very same desk, so it's not really that much of an issue. The sound is a bit tinny, and the receiver feels a bit insubstantial, but niether issue is really worth worrying about.
