Belkin F8J056TT 2.1 AMP Car Charger
Cons:Plastic is a little flimsyLED is green only, cant turn off
Pros:2.1A output to charge all newer smartphones and tabletCompact Comment:
It has enough juice to charge my phone. My previous car charger just didnt have enough amp.The LED is green. Not that dim, but isnt really distracting me while driving at night.Construction feels a little flimsy... almost like a no-name brand you can buy from ebay for a dollar. The bottom line is that I hope this little device from Belkin works as intended. I just hope it will last a few years before breaking down. |

Belkin F8J056TT 2.1 AMP Car Charger
Cons:none
Pros:compact designUSB charger Comment:
Nice compact design, it will charge most devices. |
With a 2.1 A capacity, it will charge newer phones. My old 1 A charger won't.I should have read the description more carefully - it will not charge BlackBerry devices (does anyone still have one?) Fortunately I have an adapter that was included with another charger which enables this to work fine. I believe the pins/leads are swapped around. These are all so similar in design there must be one large Chinese OEM that makes them. It's a familiar tiny cigarette lighter adapter - so small that the entire thing almost sits flush inside the socket. It has an extremely bright green LED - good for showing it's active but it might be distracting at night.I would still recommend this and I suppose with the slow demise of BlackBerry, incompatibilities will be appearing more and more as time goes on.
