Bought it on sale to replace my Monster HDMI1.2 cable since I plan to upgrade to a 3D TV soon. Using it on a several years old TV now, there's really no difference at all. So, unless you intend to own a 3D TV, there's no point to pay the premium for the HDMI1.4 cables.
