The design of the fan is nice, but only if you're using it on a table. The fact the the USB connector cable comes from under the stand means that the stand HAS to stay open, which is very inconvenient when you're holding the laptop on your lap. The day after I bought it, a blade broke off of the fan. Two days later, another blade broke off. I will be returning this product today. It's not worth buying unless you will only ever be using a laptop in one place. And really, wouldn't you just buy a desktop for that?

This is even louder than the Zantec cool 3. In all but the loudest of rooms, this would drive anyone crazy who was trying to work on a difficult spreadsheet or to otherwise concentrate at all. Crazy. My desktop pc with 4 fans is 10 times quieter. Unusable.

This thing worked great for two days and then the cooling fan started losing blades. I've lost 3 of the blades so far. The fan is becoming more and more unbalanced as I lose more blades. I will be buying a different product to replace this thing.

Ran great for about 12 hours (not all at once) and then started to make a horrible whining noise. Do not recommend this product.

I already have one of these, and bought a second for my wife's laptop. I see they have improved it by adding rubber feet to the legs to avoid damaging table surfaces. Good cooling. Thin enough to fit in my laptop bag. Great that it runs off USB.

Got this for my fiance's Mac laptop, and it works really well. We especially like that it functions as a stand, and the wave-shape does help with the heat. The computer runs better and quieter too. However, the quality of the plastic and construction aren't the best, and not as travel-friendly as others. The anti-slip pads don't work on her computer very well, but that's probably isolated to the old acrylic-look macs. Another fan and a longer power cord would be appreciated in the next model. I spent $25 on ours, and feel it should have been at least $5 cheaper, despite the features and brand name.

I bought this cooling fan about 2 months ago and it works great, keeps my notebook cool and the fan is excellent, you can't tell if its on unless you check cause it doesnt sound at all!!!
