Belkin N1 Vision Wireless Internet Router with Gigabit Ethernet - Draft 802.11n

I cant say whether this works or not, it's still wrapped in the box. What I can tell you is that the version sold by this site is 1176 and has been known to have many issues. Belkin support said this model CAN NOT be firmware upgraded to version 2. The Belkin Consumer Rep. who called me back said he would be surprised if there were any more of this version being sold anywhere. And this site says they cant promise a version 2 replacement.

Ordered this product due to the many features. The router worked well, but the display went out after one day. Returned the product. Will probably go with NetGear next.

OK so Ive owned this now for about 6 months and its already going out on me. I need to reset it every time I get online. This is my third and last belkin router. They all have done the same thing.

Plugged it in and it just worked with little configuration. I have several servers and do database development and the throughput is great!

I really like this product. Easy setup. Had a problem initially with the default language set to Spanish. Called customer support, he quickly helped me change the language. Excellent range. Also, I really like info screen on the router.

i've had it for a year and its worked perfectly without any problems. I can take my ipod touch down to the park by my house (about 5 hundred feet away) and still be using my network. so fast and great, easy to use software interface. I can also see if anyone else is using it because their computer name shows up on the routers onboard screen.....AWESOME ROUTER

What a piece of crap!! Been using for a year now, wired connections were fine but wireless, what a joke. 25 feet from router and it looses signal. What extened range?? Now after only one year of use it's taken a dump. I will not buy another and be warned this thing sucks!!

This router worked perfectly when I bought it. Never a prolbem, fast and no dropped connections ever. Then I had an issue where I needed one computer that was using VPN, well VPN wouldnt work, not even if you DMZ'ed that computer's ip address, so I checked if Belkin had a firmware upgrade and they did. I installed it and VPN worked fine, no issues, no DMZ necessary, but it now causes the connections to be dropped at random times for all computers includeing non wireless connections. The upgrade corrected the VPN but turned the router into a peice of junk for online gameing. Dont upgrade this router to the F5D8232-4_WW_1.00.15.bin firmware file, unless you want to trash it.

Good Product. Haven't had a problem like the others who said they have had dropped signals constantly. Works great throughout the house. First Belkin product and im very impressed with it.

I ordered a new router but I obtained a worn and defective router. The router that I received was already used and turned over I would like to obtain a new and functional router. May be I will give a five stars when I will receive a new functionnal router.

Great router. Sets up fast and has a strong 4 bar signal up three floors in a large house. I have 4 computers wired and one on wireless and they all work fine at the same time. I have the security set at the max settings and all is fine. Can't believe how fast it is compared to my old Belkin non wireless which finally gave up after 8 years. I think people who have problems with it either got a bad one or have other problems with their connections. I love it.

The hard wire works fine, but then again so does a 10 dollar hub. The wireless drops every 5 to 25 minutes. I hate this thing. What a waste of money. It's hard to imagine it's worse than the three linksys junk-heaps i've been through in the last few years. Major dissapointment. The only way it finally saw any of my computers is when I took off all the security and then changed NIC's from wireless g's to wireless n's. Another 200 bucks for 4 50.00 dollar N adapters. So almost 400.00 bucks in and still can't get a break. I hope all these routers burn up in a huge fire never to be seen again. Sorry Tiger but this junk-fest is coming back home to roost.....I don't want it....it stinks.

My experience with this router, DO NOT CONNECT MORE THAN ONE COMPUTER!!!! One computer will work but when an additional one is added the other will drop your connection like a lead balloon. Customer assistance will run you around in so many circles you will FALL FLAT ON YOUR FACE. My advice BUYER BEWARE!!!! Buy a Linxsys Router and you will not regret your choice of Quality. That is what I am running right now.

This is a great router and it would take an air head not to have it up and running right out of the box. The router picked up on my wireless devices quickly and you don’t even need the CD to set up through your Ethernet connected computer. This router is another example of the fine products from belkin. Worth every dollar spent.

For all the ''hype'' and expense of this router, you have to CALL Belkin Support to configure ''everything''!(unless you have prior experience with Routers already) It DOES NOT configure ALL wireless devices automatically..you have to configure ''each'' one. Also, you will not have ''Date and Time'' feature as a DEFAULT (called about having this option fixed) Otherwise, Belkin Support Staff is great at helping you 24/7!

Great router. Is a bit pricey but worth the money. Setup was easy and fast. Pretty much just plug and play.

AWESOME!!!! Picks up a signal from anything I give it PCs, laptops, WII, PS3, PSP, Xbox360, Iphone, and multiple users does not even slow it down, even when streaming videos + the added feature of the display lets you know everything thats going on at all times!! My only complaint is that it is a pricey router, but you get what you pay for!!

The N1 Vision has incredible range! Just two on 20-ft poles blanket our 25-acre vacation site with hundreds of tall trees and rvs. The few in wifi dark areas use hField's Wi-Fire adapter to connect. Combined, these two products are plastic magic.
