Belkin SOHO 2 Port DVI Audio USB KVM Switch
Cons:
Doesn't like video or high end games. The video goes blank a few seconds then turns back on again a few times a minute. Very annoying. Get a 2nd monitor (per PC to do this for both) and hook it up directly to the 2nd output from the video card and play video or games on the 2nd monitor. Regular windows activity and games work fine on the shared monitor.Sound has only 1 analog input (plus mic). So no Sub/Center/Front/Back controls.
Pros: 2 large buttons allow a combination of sound, controls and monitor, or both, so you can have sound coming from one machine while controlling the other. |

Belkin SOHO 2 Port DVI Audio USB KVM Switch
Cons:
occaisionally loses keyboard or mouse on one or both machines. Might be due in part to "wireless" mouse / keyboard. Response time of mouse isn't good enough for FPS or RTS games... but then I just plug a dedicated mouse for the duration.
Pros: perfect for accessing legacy machine or production / pleasure pairs of CPU's Comment:
Awesome product. My only regret is that I didn't get the 4 port model. If you have multiple boxes but don't want to clutter your "real" desk space, this works very, very well. |
This is the 2 PC model. Fine for $79.99 on sale. Not worth much more anymore. Came out in late 2008.
