I bought this on sale to allow iPod use in my wife's 2005 G35x. It has the Bose system which is OK but far from amazing. It IS better than I thought a Bose could be as their home theater stuff generally sucks.Anyway I say this as the Bose's FM tuner may be partly to blame for the mediocre sound. I may try it in my truck to be sure.The signal to the stereo is excellent and the ipod works perfectly with the unit. The sound is the most important feature and it falls short here. The high frequencies are weak and distorted. It makes my VBR0 and CBR 320 Lame mp3s sound like 96's. It serves its purpose but is only useful for times when you just have to have your ipod, such as on a road trip. |
I bought it for use with an iphone and I really had no problems. The sound quality is very good. When I made a long trip, it sometimes must change FM channel, but rarely. Very effective.
