Pros: Great concept, performs AMAZING once adjusted! |

Belkin n52te Game Controller
Cons:
The D pad feels cheap. The keys bounce back into place slower than on my 10$ keyboard.
Pros: Macros! the keys can be programmed to be any key or a combination of keys. Even the timing of the keys can be programmed.Adjustable palm rest. The keys can be mapped for 3 different choices Comment:
Although this is item is geared towards gamers, I find it is very useful for other applications too. Its speeds up any action which requires pressing multiple keys. For office work, shortcuts such as copy or paste will only require 1 button press so your productivity becomes faster. |

Belkin n52te Game Controller
Cons:
Some buttons are hard of accessibility.
Pros: Buttons Freely Programmable, Cool looking, joins little parts of the keyboard and mouse's scroll together in one hand. Comment:
It has two levels of adjustments for your hand, you could remove the little ball on the arrow keys but this pad is still a bit uncomfortable when it comes to use the mouse scroll or the space buttons. This is COMPLETELY programmable, every single button is programmable the way you want. You have 3 modes for 3 set of button customization. to click the space button (the one on the bottom right) i started using the side of my hand bu twitching my wrist instead of moving my thumb, its faster and i don't need to move my fingers. but since i have to do that, it means that its not very well ergonomically designed. This is powered by Razer but still not a Razer quality product. I do not recommend it for FPS, i recommend it to people who play games with a lot of commands. (i got it for about 40$) |

NOW I KNOW WHAT A GAME PAD LOOKS LIKE
Comment:
i bought the n52te six months a go i put everything i had in too the device for the first 3 months I spent 2 more months working fine tuning to learn & make it familiar it should not take this long to learn the keys are to close the hand rest is the worst it is fixed it has to be flat to work so i have that movement that makes it possible to run the device the d pad is a joke it has no diagonal movements a really big part of my game is down the drain TRULY when i bought this i did not know what i was looking for in a game pad now i do it is the excite opposite of this seriously & no button switch d pad for movements they said it was a eight way programmable d pad but not if you want to use it for movements they should have told me that & i would have never bought this but i am stuck with there product they knew i would never be able to use at its full potential,,WHAT IS IN IT FOR ME..IF SOMETHING IS MISSING I CAN'T LEARN THAT |

Great for MMO Gaming with Macros
Comment:
I bought one of these for Aion in the short time the game engine worked and the gamepad was amazing. The macros are very easy to setup and, with some work, can be edited in an INI file. My gf bought the logitech similarity version of this and it didn't work macrowise with Aion or WOW. This works for both. You can set anything from a bot macro to run around in a circle (not good for actual combat, but it's funny to watch) to a macro to continuously attempt to loot a single spot if you know a mining vein will spawn somewhere. Overall I max rate it because it was very easy to install the software, then connect the gamepad, then start up the software to set macros and connections. I have average sized male hands and the thumb pad is still a bit far away and the thumb 'space-bar' is nearly out of reach comfortably but isn't a huge arguement to me. Cons - none. |

Cons:Very bright LED light stays on even when PC is off, be careful if you keep your PC in your bedroom
Pros:Comfortable and highly customizable Comment:
No more WASD for me! I used the 10 button Nostromo N50 for 6 years until I upgraded to the N52 only because it has more buttons. After 16 months and over 300+ hours playing Oblivion and other games, I still haven't had any major issues with the N52. No lettering has worn off and the buttons still have a good response to them. First thing I did was pull the removable knob out of the D-pad and throw it away. I use the D-pad and my thumb for all of my avatar movements so I don't cramp up my fingers around the W-A-S-D keys. Top row of keys are my main weapon hotkeys, middle row are my actions (use item, crouch, reload etc.) and the bottom row are special commands or toggles. The large rectangular button I use for the game menu, the small button above the D-pad I use for quick saves and the scroll function can be used for 3 different key commands. In all you have a D-pad and 19 different key commands in easy access to your left hand (not counting toggles). Plus since my thumb is controlling all of my characters movements, my fingers are free to switch weapons, reload, change items, etc. on the fly, something I can't do with WASD. The Nostromo doesn't always make me a better gamer but it does makes gaming alot more comfortable for my hands meaning I can play much, much longer than with a standard keyboard. |

Been playing with this keypad for about little over a month and I have to say I love it. hadn't had any problems with it. only thing I would suggest would to buy some of those Velcro pads that you can stick to on things. was a bit irritating how it would slowly slide left when I would press forward on the joystick. Other than that I love the thing XD! |

i got this a while back soon after it came out. some things i have noticed. the buttons seem cheap to me. sometimes u will hold one for a while then let go and it will still count the button as being held in. the joystick on the d pad sucks but good news u can pull it out and then its just a regular d pad. other then those things its been good. i only use 1 of the shift functions. despite what the first reviewer says you can have them do shift + button. u just need to make one of the buttons shift the best would be the one for your little finger so u can easily hit it, hold it and hit the other button. i personally dont need the shift button or the shift functions. other then the buttons getting ''stuck'' sometimes and the joystick being crap, it has been great. |

It's a good product but not the best so far on the market. Button have a great feeling but also look cheap. The button #15 for the space bar give 60 % response depending where you press, what a shame...Hopefully you can use the D-PAD as an another space bar solution. You can keep up for 3 profiles with his integreted memory. It's good but this won't make you a better gamer, it'll be more just confortable and that game pad takes some times to handle it perfectly. |

This unit cost vs touch feeling is bad. First impression is that this unit is very fragile. Does not feel like a 69.99$ item.Though I still have to try it more intensly, all I can say is that it feels cheap, buttons make quite a lot of noise... |

Belkin n52te Game Controller
Cons:-button 15 (space) hard to reach with smaller hands-scroll wheel is a little awkward to reach-cant assign keystrokes to the keys (have to create macro's)
Pros:-comfortable-little hand movement-very versatile-onboard profiles (drivers/software not needed after programming) Comment:
I bought this last week to alleviate my ill feelings towards logitech and the G15 diabacle. I still have ill feelings towards logitech now but at least I am not reminded of it everyday I use my computer lol.If the original G15 still existed I would recomend that to casual-hardcore gamers. However for the extremest this gamepad or another like it is a MUST! I don't know what the previous reviewer was thinking but this thing has so much program capability with games like world of warcraft that it is insane. useing the d-pad for shift, ctrl, alt, and jump (because the space button is hard for my small thumbs to reach) I have the other 14 buttons programmed within one shift state to have 3 uses each. That means I have 42 spells, moves, ect programmed without even changing shift states! and that doesn't include the scroll wheel yet or the circle button above the d-pad (which are also fully programmable. Now add shift states in there... thats 126 programmable buttons now (yes I realize the unit only advertises as 104 but thats just within its software). Now take into account world of warcraft extensive built in macro system... and the fact that the game itself only allows 120 mappings... how does this not have enough keys for world of warcraft? Already I have 30 spells on my warlock mapped to the gamepad allong with some UI features such as map, character sheet, crafting screens, run/walk, sheath/unsheath... ect. I even use it to automatically enter my account name and pass which is nice cause I have multiple accounts. The only problem I have with the software is it doesn't allow mapping keystrokes to the buttons. You have to create seperate macro's for each keystroke. This is just nitpicking mind you as the capability is still there. |

comfortable, durable design, simple to plug-in and use, great software. don't care what the first reviewer says, the software is awesome and really easy-to-use. you can program a single key or a macro of ridiculous detail. the buttons are set up to fit your hand very well and give you the use of your thumb back as opposed to a normal keyboard which doesn't let you get much use out of your thumb. used an N52 for a while and got this for vista. it was great before and remains great now. I love this keypad. |

Belkin n52te Game Controller
Cons:-Not enough keys.-Thumb button badly placed.
Pros:-Macro features useful.-Comfortable. Comment:
The unit is nice for simpler games without too many key presses. Just falls in as too light for games with lots of key assignments like mmo's. The d-pad is useless for replacing movement keys as I had hoped, as it just does not work well at all when mapped to wasd style movements. The thumb button below the d-pad seems way to low and feels like a chore to press. Customization for large or small hands is good with the adjustable hand rest. The macro features are useful and interesting. Software thankfully does not need to run in the background as profiles are saved to onboard memory, but the software does seem to be needed to switch profiles. Overall it has it's uses and is nice in the games it works well with, but not quite as great as it looked. |

Comment:
I suck at gaming on a pc. This game pad helps me look like a half way decent pc gamer. I will not even try to play pc games without it. I love it it is easy to program including macros. My only complaint is with the button above the d-pad the round silver one it feels spongey I really have to push in quite hard/far to make it work. It dosen't feel right and I feel I can't count on it always working. I have not seen another one to try and see if it is just mine or they all feel that way. That is really the only flaw I see with this product. |

I purchased the original n52 about two years ago when I started playing Counter Strike: Source and I was extremely happy with it. I felt like I had much more control. The software that comes with it to customize the buttons and create macros is supreme. I play a lot faster. It's much more comfortable than a standard keyboard and it's extremely durable(trust me, I gave it a beating). Two years later it still works perfect; however, I decided to issue it an early retirement and purchase the new n52te. The new n52te is practically identical to the n52, it just looks cooler. |

Pros:Nice feel to the buttonsLooks goodBacklighting Comment:
I really like the N52TE, it feels a lot better than the old N52...The buttons feel a lot better than the old N52 except for the number 15 button - you have to hit it just right, if not it may not register the keystroke...The piano black finish is really nice and the hand rest feels silky...I have not installed the drivers for it yet so I cannot comment on them, I just use it as is and map the buttons in game, works fine and I have no drivers running in the background...I paid $39.99 with a PM and would definitely purchase again... |

Belkin n52te Game Controller
Cons:D-pad not usable for movement in games due to driver bugsMacros did not work correctly out of the box.Very poor driver/software support and company communicationD-pad feels terrible. Very little tactile feedback on keys (they feel worse than laptop keys).
Pros:Good potential if they fix the drivers and software Comment:
Great potential if only driver and software support were there by the manufacturers. However they've proven D-pad is actually unusable for movement since it is defective and whenever you roll it from one direction to another, it sends input for both directions multiple times, messing up your movement in games like UT, AOC, etc.Driver support is very poor. Issues posted on their boards 6 months ago still haven't been fixed. Patches delayed significantly. Poor communication from developers.Overall: **Completely Unsatisfactory** (but my OrderID is not working in the review form so I am forced to choose a positive review number.) |

Great Great Great product, I owned the n50 and that one is very different. I mean, you feel a lot more customable options. Like I said in the weaknesses case, it takes some time to understand all the possibilities that are offered with this pad, after you'll have to set the settings, but it totaly worth it, if you are a gamer, of a shortcut key deskjob man. |

Cons:usb cable is much shorter than previous, glows blue
Pros:Good fit, keymaps held in on-board memory, improved feet, lower profile keys, extension on direction hat, lighter touch thumb button Comment:
Nostromo Speedpad user since the n50, this one has a slightly smaller fit than the n52 -- I used to use the 'small' wrist pad setting, but now use the 'large'. The extension on the d-pad is removable. Software is fine with the newest version -- on board memory means you don't have to run any extra software, and possibly no drivers needed after programming. |

I have the 52 not the te and I must say, it has created a world of hell and confusion for me. I don't know what the dev's were thinking when they made this, but to not release one for my right hand also was a catastrophic folly :P. Seriously, I have become so attached to this one piece of equipment, that my left hand rests on it while surfing the net. I tried to break away and go to the Idealzon Fang, but it just couldn't compete with the simplicity, comfort and flexibility of this product! |

Pros:Ergonomic, Portability, ease of use, and Darn it looks cool.Works with Vista. Razer memory Comment:
Excellent product. Ordered 2 more as gifts for friends !!!It is contoured for the hand, it has everything I need. Fingers fit naturally on the keys. The fact I can program it on my main computer and don't have to reprogram it for alternate computers is a great new feature. Programming it is quite simple saving macros is a nice touch so you can use those for reprogramming it later. |
Don't listen to the haters. If you play FPS this is a MUST. Once you get comfortable with it your game will go up I guarantee it. The MAIN advantage is that it opens up your thumb to 6 actions rather than just the space key. Never move your hand to throw a care package or grenade again!
