BenQ MX660 Projector
Cons:
Onboard speakers could be slightly louder
Pros: 5000 bulb hours, fully lit luminescence, Plug and play feature via USB, no color decay problems |
I was interested in this projector because of its fairly low price and its low bulb replacement price. Those who are interested in purchasing projectors should always keep an eye on bulb replacement costs, and those who decide to go with LCD projectors should be aware of maintenance costs and filter change and possible color decay problems that may arise. That’s why I have chosen to switch to DLP projectors. The MX660 is a pretty standard mid-range business/educational projector in my opinion. However, it would be a lie to say it is not powerful in its own way, because the new BenQ projectors seem to be equipped with higher contrast ratios which enable them to project imagery with spectacular colors and high brightness output which is the strength of most BenQ projectors. Documents and PPT are extremely clear and vibrant with color and brightness, without being blinding. This unit also has a great feature of bulb efficiency which allows it to use up to 5000 bulb hours on eco mode. The PC less presentation is very useful and seems to also come with most of BenQ’s new data projectors. It’s extremely helpful when you are using the projector in multiple scenarios or moving it from room to room for interchangeable use. Since the economy is bad, we need to find new ways to save costs and utilize our equipment to the max, and portability is a must and the MX660 has it.
