BenQ VW2420H 24IN Widescreen LCD VA LED Ultra Slim 1920X1080 3000:1 1080P HDMI DVI VGA Black Monitor
Cons:-Cannot be mounted
Pros:-A-MVA Colour clarity-Slim frame and bezel Comment:
Got this on the Black Friday sale and couldn't be happier! After eying for an IPS or VA monitor for my graphic design work, I was able to nab this for something around $180. Monitor is thin, but lacks any mounts on the backside to put it on a wall (But not too much of a dealbreaker). Overall, doesnt take too long for any burn-in (if there even was any) to get to the full colour. Highly Recommended! |

BenQ VW2420H 24IN Widescreen LCD VA LED Ultra Slim 1920X1080 3000:1 1080P HDMI DVI VGA Black Monitor
Cons:No DVI cables. No height adjustment, just tilt. Bezel is very shiny and reflects all background light which is why I am not giving this monitor a 5 star rating.
Pros:Fantastic contrast ratio for still images like picture processing right out of the box. I still have to calibrate and it will be better. Comment:
I ordered two for work. I do some image processing where high contrast is required. I stuck with a CRT monitor due to contrast when LCD wouldn't allow me to see what I needed to see.The first image I looked at with this monitor was fantastic. The effect I was looking for was quite visible, better than the CRT.I am going to try some fine sandpaper to see if I can remove the problem with the shiny bezel. If you are looking for a new 24" monitor, this is a great buy. They make a 27" as well.I just ordered one of these for home. |

BenQ VW2420H 24IN Widescreen LCD VA LED Ultra Slim 1920X1080 3000:1 1080P HDMI DVI VGA Black Monitor
Cons:- Very flimsy stand. You must hold it firmly when you press the monitor's button because it wobbles a lot!
Pros:- Contrast ratio is totaly amazing!- Ridiculously cheap at only 200$. Hell my previous BenQ was a LED too but TN pannel for the same price and now I get MVA!- Very nice looking and thin.- No big backlight bleeding.- Dynamic Contrast finaly does a good job, at least for being used as a TV and not doing any serious photo editing.- Wow, the viewing angles! Comment:
OOOOMG!!! It's my very first MVA monitor and seriously I can't ever go back anymore to the crappy TN pannels with outrageous angles and ordinary colors. It's such a huge improvement, I'm glad I tryed it. I prefer however my new Asus 23" IPS price-matched at 180$ so 20$ less and better pannel though I lose 1 inch. I haven't tested the speed as people says on the net that it's the slowest pannels and wouldn't be good for fast games but it's 100% perfect for movies and the rest. |

BenQ VW2420H 24IN Widescreen LCD VA LED Ultra Slim 1920X1080 3000:1 1080P HDMI DVI VGA Black Monitor
Cons:- Stand is basically non-adjustable
Pros:- Sleek, good-looking design- Good picture quality- Well priced VA panel- No noticable motion blur Comment:
I purchased this monitor a few months back for a family member after having poor experiences with some current generation TN panel LCD monitors. While this monitor is not something that I feel would appeal to anyone who does professional image or video processing it is a perfect monitor for the average consumer. The picture quality is excellent (I feel it is equivalent or better than anything else in this price range) and after playing a number graphically demanding games on this I didn't see any noticable amount of motion blur. Visually the monitor itself is quite appealing and is also extremely thin for people who are concerned with that. The only thing I would like to have seen improved is the adjustability of the base as it is limited to slightly angling the monitor forwards or backwards. Still even this was a minor issue as I already owned a monitor riser so height adjustment wasn't a problem for me. That said potential buyers should be aware that additional hardware will be required if you are looking to change the height of this monitor. |
I would buy this monitor again for sure. the colors are crisp and clear, took no time to set it up. I am very happy with it.
