BenQ W6000 Corporate/Home Entertainment Projector
Cons:A bit heavy of a projector, so unless hung from the ceiling you'll need to make sure your base is steady
Pros:Very powerful bulb, long range throw, deep blacks, spectacular images Comment:
This is currently probably one of the best bargains in the world of projectors as its price has dropped significantly over the past year. When it was first launched it was priced and competing in the mid range and now it is getting lower to almost the entry projector level prices. I had been eyeing this projector, as in my opinion I think it’s one of the greatest deals out there. I have always been a DLP fan, and if there is one thing I know that is DLP’s project much more rich content and is much better for watching sports, since the image just looks so much livelier. The W6000 was and still is one of the brightest in its performance range of home theaters which helps out if you have a long throw distance between your screen and projector. And although my throw distance is 18 feet, the W6000 still delivers a superb picture because of its high brightness which helps. Its high contrast ratio is the factor which delivers stunning deep blacks and beautiful colors, and this projector also carries lens shift. Lens shift is a factor why lots of first time users opt for LCD, because entry level LCDs carry lens shift, however for DLPs they only start carrying them in mid-range performance models such as the W6000, so placement will not be an issue. Overall the W6000 is a fabulous projector and with extra effort of calibration you can turn it into a projector that will blow all in its range straight out of the water. trouble whit hdcp
Comment:
WARNING trouble whit new video card compatibility . only whit hdmi cable . |
I bought it here last week on special, but I regret to not bought w70000 with cfi feature (add frame interpolation for smooter motion) because image picture is very blurred and jerky when camera move fast or object move fast on the screeen, sometime it's just unwatchable. I tried a lot of thing during credit roll of Avatar, the credit is a little difficult to read. But with video games I don't see this problem.Otherwise, image is very nice, I like the colors too and black level are better than previous projector I saw.
