BenQ XL2411Z 24IN LED 144HZ 1MS GTG FPS/RTS Gaming Monitor HDMI DVI VGA HAS 3D Ready Flicker Free
Cons:Max refresh rate for HDMI is 60hz, so I use DVI for 144hz, but maybe there are some underlying factors as to why this is the case, but not a huge issue.
Pros:Versatile (screen orientation)Good response timeVery smooth, high refresh rateDecent configuration UI Comment:
Overall, does its job well. |

BenQ XL2411Z 24IN LED 144HZ 1MS GTG FPS/RTS Gaming Monitor HDMI DVI VGA HAS 3D Ready Flicker Free
Cons:- Price!- Back-light gets a bit dim in the top left corner- Lacking in display port- Terrible default color profile
Pros:- Everything is buttery smooth and then some at 120-144hz- 1ms GTG and 5ms black-to-white almost feels like telepathy- 3D Ready if you're into that sort of thing- Horizontal viewing angles are decent for TN- Nice, clean design- Locking monitor stand for easy transport!- Blur reduction system Comment:
I bought this to move up from an older TN panel that I've been using for some time. First thing you'll notice turning it on is the absolute worst brightness, contrast and color settings that you ever did see. I spent a good week fine tuning settings in Windows and the BenQ Display Port software to get it ironed out. Once you have the display to your liking, the colors are quite good for a TN panel. The blacks and grays can be a little washed out, but that may just require more setting tweaks on my part. But this is one heck of a gaming beast! Playing ANYTHING at 120hz or above is a joy. Animations are fluid, input reactions are immediate and overall the whole experience is a sight to behold (Won't be able to go back to 60hz anytime soon). The Blur Reduction mode on the monitor eliminates all motion blur from the picture, but also cuts monitor brightness quite a lot. Not really a problem if you're playing at night or in a dark room. Some ghosting can be seen at the corners of the screen when this mode is on, but when you're focused on a game it's not an issue. The price is the elephant in the room though. As others have said, $400 can get you a damn good IPS display with much better colors and visual fidelity. Knocking off a star for that reason alone. If you plan on getting this monitor, get it on sale.At the end of the day though this is a damn good gaming panel and I highly recommend nabbing one when they come on sale. No buyers remorse here! |

I was worried about the viewing angle because of the panel type but was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't an issue. |

BenQ XL2411Z 24IN LED 144HZ 1MS GTG FPS/RTS Gaming Monitor HDMI DVI VGA HAS 3D Ready Flicker Free
Cons:A bit expensive, but if you get it on a good sale it's worth every penny.
Pros:Best refresh rate with good color reproduction,Adjustable stand is very very nice for taller users and once set it hasn't moved even when cleaning the desk/monitor,The BenQ software for profiles is very nice and with some thinkering you can quickly switch between different profiles. Comment:
I went from another 24 inch monitor at 5ms and 60mhz so for me the biggest difference right out of the box was how sharp the image would be while moving quickly in games. Sharp edges would stay sharp, I was so used to seeing blur while shaking the view in game that I wasn't noticing it anymore but now I could never go back! Also I have been enjoying putting the monitors at 144mhz and using v-sync, this way you can have a good 144fps and no tearing! While on sale I would definitely recommend this monitor for gamers! |

BenQ XL2411Z 24IN LED 144HZ 1MS GTG FPS/RTS Gaming Monitor HDMI DVI VGA HAS 3D Ready Flicker Free
Cons:colour reproduction and gamma, but this is a TN panel so it is expected.Only up to 1920x1080 in resolution. The price!!!
Pros:24in, 144hz capability, packaging3D....if any1 even using that for gaming?and FREE SHIPPING!!!! Comment:
I recently found a small stuck pixel (red) over by the bottom left corner of the screen, it is visible and noticeable but it doesnt matter me much cuz its over by the corner, but beware when you got urs, make sure to check it before u call it good.It is a bit on the expensive side, but it is a good buy, as mentioned above, it have really bright white due to the unnecessary high gamma and contrast, for normal daily usage, u will dislike the high gamma, it cause some washout, not a lot, but some noticeable when viewing pictures, as for movies, not bad at all, in fact, it is really good for movies and videos, it doesnt have the best colour reproduction (again, due to being a TN panel), but it is way better than most other 144hz 1ms monitors. AND as for gaming, which is the sole reason I, and probably most of u, get this monitor for, it does an absolute fantastic job when gaming, so cant complain on that part.bottom line, im happy with my purchase. would recommend. |

BenQ XL2411Z 24IN LED 144HZ 1MS GTG FPS/RTS Gaming Monitor HDMI DVI VGA HAS 3D Ready Flicker Free
Cons:Could always be cheaper (the regular price is high for what you get, at that price point I would look for an IPSFair number of inputs but not Display Port :(Would like to see a Display port on thispanel for the full retail pricePanel Technology: Twisted Nematic Film (TN Film)Adjust on stand is weak and feels like it could break without a great deal of force.
Pros:Reasonable features for low(?) price, Be sure to price match/shop the sale(s)3D Ready (if that is your thing)Serious gamer panel Comment:
Arrived without incident, and works as advertised.Good GTG response (1ms)Good gaming panel24 inch, not the biggest panel but suitable. Can do 3D with right equipment (Nivida 3D sticker on bezel)Pricey at full price when IPS panels are available at this price range.Seems targeted at the gamer more then anything.Minus 1 for price (at full price, be sure to price match this one!) BenQ XL2411Z 24IN LED 144HZ 1MS GTG FPS/RTS Gaming Monitor HDMI DVI VGA HAS 3D Ready Flicker Free
Cons:I would have preferred a glossy screen, needs thinner bezels, has narrow viewing angles, and wish I bought this sooner.
Pros:This has the lowest input lag out of any gaming monitor I ever purchased, pulsing back light provides CRT like motion, 144Hz is buttery smooth experience, and love all the customization options in the OSD. Comment:
Playing games like CS:GO really makes this monitor shine where you need to see every moment of the action and exactly right when it happens. I am going to need to upgrade my GPU soon to fully take advantage of the 144Hz without turning down my graphics in all my games. I used this monitor so far with my PC and PS4 and makes gaming all that much more fun. I am now a BenQ fanboy and will only be buying from them when I need a gaming monitor in the future. |
