I had some issues getting this mic to pick up my voice sufficiently when using my onbaord audio chipset on my asrock xtreme3 gen3, but fortunately after my soundcard arrived and i hooked the mic up to the card it works flawlessly.I can listen to music or watch tv in the background while gaming or on skype and the people on the other end only hear me, with no distortion, just clean crisp voice. One poor decision by beyerdynamic is they did not include an inline mic mute switch, but luckily you can just pull the mic off of the cable and re-attach as needed. I also didn't notice any loss in quality switching from the original cord that the Custom One Pros came with to the cord with the mic.Would have been 5 stars if it had a mute button somewhere for the mic
