Beyerdynamic DT860 Stereo Headphones 5-35000HZ 32OHM 10FT SILVER/BLACK
Cons:-None
Pros:-Comfy-Very plush ear pieces-Amazing Sound-Great Bass-Inexpensive for audiophile headphones-Comes with a carrying case Comment:
Finally got a set of audiophile headphones to replace my headset. Really glad I made the switch because I notice a lot of subtle things I could never hear with my previous set up. I bought a sound card with them but not sure how much of a difference it made over on board. Nothing sounds tinny anymore, things are much more clear now. Highly recommend due to the comfort, sound and price of these beauties. |

Beyerdynamic DT860 Stereo Headphones 5-35000HZ 32OHM 10FT SILVER/BLACK
Cons:
Very large. Be careful if you have a small head.
Pros: Excellent sound quality.Great resolution across lows, mids, and highs.Easy to drive even with portable players. Comment:
Had this set of headphones for just under a month now. Amazing sound. If you move from cheap headphones to these you will notice all sorts of new details you haven't heard before. Bass is extremely clear, well defined and not overpowering. Sounds great with smartphones, hi-fi portable MP3 players like the Cowon X5, computer sound cards. Ideally use am amp for the best sound however. Beware of the overly bright amps though as the headphones are already very clear, a bright amp could bring it too far. Finally, though they are reasonably comfy, they are very large. I wear the headband on the smallest size and it is still slightly too large. Be wary if you have a normal or small head. |
This pair of headphones has great sound quality, good bass, and clear in the higher frequencies too. It sounds better with a soundcard that has headphone amp but it is not necessary. However it does not have a volume control knob?
