I bought these to replace an older pair of Sennheiser over the ear headphones. I really liked the sound of the Sennheisers and am equally impressed (if not more) with these Beyerdynamics. The sound is very detailed and accurate. The bass isn't super punchy but reasonable enough for headphones of this size. They are portable and come with a carrying case for transport. They're quite comfy and don't squish my ears or head. So far, I'm very happy with my purchase.
