This headphone is probably the best portable one you can get. It is not an ordinary headphone. When you put it on and watch a movie, it feels like you are actually hearing it from high quality speakers. If you really want to get the best out of this, then pair it up with a Beyerdynamic A200P portable amp! I think at $1,399.00, NCIX is offering it at a great price. They usually don't go on sale in Canada. In US, I have rarely seen it on sale but considering the shipping and customs, I would say it's cheaper to buy it in Canada.That said, this headphone is still one of the priciest ones in the market. If you want to only use it at home, then look at Beyerdynamic T1 (this needs a good amp).I would have liked it to be a bit lighter. There is also no volume control, but I've never seen volume control on super high end headphones either.For only at home use, Senheisser HD800 would probably be your best choice though.
