These need fans that have good airflow!

I agree with the first reviewer. They do restrict airflow a lot. I was going to install them but they cut down on the airflow so much that I had to take them out. I am going to save them for another non PC project or may try to modify them to see if I can increase the airflow on my normal standard PC fans! |

Well I purchased these I was thinking it would be good filtration because my house is dusty and full of cat hair. Well they do work and provide good filtration if you need that but they restrict a lot of air flow on low RPM quite fans. These fan filters are for fans that suck a lot of air. Only buy them if you are really concerned about filtration. I'd rather have cooling and clean my computer every couple of months. |
I tried using dryer sheets, but they were inconvenient to use. These are great because I use high RPM fans, and the inside of my PC is spotless after one month of use. That is really good considering that I had to clean it once a month because it got so bad in the home office with dust and cat hair. Glad I bought these, I really don't like to clean heat sinks. I'd rather wash these filters.
