Can't install OS
Comment:
I order this board as part of a barebones and it crashed. Seems to be a video issue. Returning and buying MSI. Should of payed attention to the reviews. Spend a few extra dollars and avoid the headache. |

Wireless USB adapter not recognized
Comment:
For whatever reason, the board does not recognized Wireless USB adapter when I plug it in, there were no power to it. I tried different brands. It does recognize the mouse and keyboard. This is my first Biostar purchased as a bundle. |

Works for me
Comment:
I agree with the reviewer about the board being on the small side. It was a challenge fitting everything, however performs great for my application. |

Built two systems with this board - so far so good. |

I'd imagine it would be good if it worked
Comment:
No Proc cap on socket, no jumper pin. Im guessing this was returned and sent back out. No video, no boot, no use. Traded out all associated hardware, still no go. save yourself the time and drop another $20 for something better. |

Small motherboard
Comment:
This was my own fault, but i did not expect the motherboard to be this small. Pros: pretty fast little motherboard. Cons: Ram slots too close to the processor. I wasted a stick of RAM because the processor cooler is in the way. All in all, you get what you pay for, and the speed is OK. |

Old Technology
Comment:
If I had read closely, I would have selected a newer board. This one is near the end of its support life and as one reviewer noticed, NIC drivers weren't included, and the other drivers provided would install under Win7. |

Nice tiny Board
Comment:
Tiny but it has what it needs Micro ATX should have hinted a few complaining about the lack of expension slots or connectors but... as a family PC it works great ! installation was a breeze and the only thing I did was to install a better video card and a Wireless card using the PCIe and PCI slots. overall I am happy with my purchase ! |

Nice Motherboard
Comment:
Got it as part of barebones kit. Works fine. Two negatives: 1) only one PCI slot; 2) network drivers were not in the CD that came with it. Had to go to Nvidia site and download them. Maybe that's why another reviewer thought he had to buy a network card. |

good board
Comment:
Overall pleased with the board. Only thing is the location of the SATA ports. If you are using a video card with a full length HSF, it will be a VERY tight fit for the SATA cables. The drives will need to be connected 1st before installing the video card. To avoid this, I suggest obtaining the SATA cables that are at a 45 degree angle and use those. It will make it easier to access those ports in the future without removing the video card. |

Poor MoBo
Comment:
This mother board lack of everything. PATA and SATA. The AM2(plus) Socket is so cheap, even in the locked position the processor is all loose in it. The microphone jack is the same as the center and subwoofer jack. WHY IS ONE PLUG DOING 3 JOBS ??? The microphone won't work, as you have to plug it in the woofer jack(Can't tell if the woofer works...) The socket and the chipset don't belong to the same company (A D and n idia) !!! Buyed it 'cause it was cheap, And it's not worth it's price. Shoooo Bi Star ! |

Nice Motherboard
Comment:
So far I'm happy with the motherboard, its a little cramped and its only got one IDE Ribbon slot, but that's something obvious if you read. I have not used the on board video card so I don't know how that preforms. It has plenty of USB connections in the back and 2 connectors on the board for more USB slots if your case has them or if you want to rig some up haphazardly. In regards to the review from the previous customer, the LAN port will not work until you install the drivers that come with the disk! You didn't need a LAN card. Sorry bud. |

get what you pay for
Comment:
Had to buy a LAN card to hook up to the internet. Was much more difficult working with than a ASUS OR MSI. |

nice package, with amd proccessor
Comment:
nice compact board, very up to date features. One shortfall may be that it has only one IDE Connection. If your doing a sata config. this could be a board for you. Biostar is turning into a mainstream manufacturer. I now have put together five new builds with there boards dating back to 05', no problems. |

Excellent performance for cost
Comment:
Set-up was easy. Driver updates were only mildly frustrating - the audio driver took extra effort to get the OS happy. This motherboard replaced a similar one with a dual core processor. So far I have not taxed its resources. I use this computer for web surfing, email, office documents, and programming. |
