Bitfenix Outlaw Steel Black ATX Mid Tower Case 4X5.25 4X3.25 1X2.5 *No PS* Top USB3.0 Audio
Cons:side panels seem a bit flimsy, always afraid to pop off front panel.
Pros:Lovely case, for the price, plenty of cable management room.Upside down mounting style keeps older hotter video cards up top where they should be. Comment:
Loving the case, used it in two builds for friends now, with the mounting style, and airflow layout of the case the system actually stays a bit cooler than on my test bench.Great value, good features. Will and have bought Bitfenix again since. |
I am yet to build my PC but wanted to just note a couple of things I noticed about this hard-to-find reverse ATX case: USB 3.0 is definitely included (the description says USB 2.0 although the headline does say USB 3.0) and instead of just the one fan, I found that there were already two fans included, which is a nice bonus. One thing making me nervous however are conflicting reports about what size of CPU cooler can be accommodated by this case. I have heard anywhere from 156mm (the official number which I should have paid attention to before getting my CPU cooler) to 170mm (from an Anandtech review and those guys usually know what they are talking about). I will report back after my build since the CPU cooler I got (the common Cooler Master Hyper 212 Evo) is listed at 159mm.Apart from that, the case looks great, a nice clean non-flashy look like I wanted. The case badge is already stuck on (from reviews I judged that it was user choice but it probably comes off easily). As far as I know, NCIX is the only place to buy this case right now and it comes at a pretty good price for a budget case.
