Bitfenix Shinobi Window ATX Mid Tower Case White 3X5.25EXT 8X3.5INT No PS Top USB2.0 Audio
Cons:None
Pros:Awesome looks, great cooling, quality construction Comment:
Now, this is how a budget case should be done. This is one of the best under 100 bucks cases you can currently get. It has amazing cooling, and looks fantastic. The white color scheme enhances its already great looks. It is very easy to work in, and offers plenty of room for cable management. If you want a case in the under 100 price bracket, this is the one to get. I give it 5/5 stars. |

Bitfenix Shinobi Window ATX Mid Tower Case White 3X5.25EXT 8X3.5INT No PS Top USB2.0 Audio
Cons:No 2.5"/SSD mountpoints
Pros:Nice clean design with lots of cooling options Comment:
Beautiful clean case. The outside of the case is minimal and unobtrusive.Plenty of options for cooling inside the case and good cable management options on the inside.Front panel connectors on the top make for easy access when your tower is on the floor.Soft touch really can only be described as soft touch. It's actually quite nice when handling or moving your tower.I would definitely buy again if I needed a non-budget case. |

Bitfenix Shinobi Window ATX Mid Tower Case White 3X5.25EXT 8X3.5INT No PS Top USB2.0 Audio
Cons:Drive cageOptical drive bayLack of 2.5" drive spaces
Pros:Great cable managementAwesome designHighly customizable appearanceGreat priceTool-less mounts Comment:
Pros:This case has a nice and clean finish. The soft touch material finish makes it so it does not feel cheap. I am able to hide all my cables with ease as there are many holes to inset the cables, and plenty of space in the back to arrange it.- The replaceable mesh and logo make it so you can really personalize the appearance of the case! I love that feature and I have already changed the default (silver) logo to a deep blue one!- The tool-less mounts make it much easier to add/remove drives. They also look rather stylish and adds accents of black to contrast the white of the case. Though they can be rather loose at mounting the drive, allowing for vibration to occur. Now for the cons:- The drive cages are arranged facing the back/front of the chassis, so adding/removing drives could prove to be a little more difficult, though still not bad.- Since this is white, getting an optical drive will mess with the clean white look since it's black. You will have to buy a drive bay cover just to make the appearance all white again.- Only space for one 2.5" drive is really a disappointment. One mounting tray is supplied but most high end systems and enthusiasts will probably have at least 2 SSDs. |

Bitfenix Shinobi Window ATX Mid Tower Case White 3X5.25EXT 8X3.5INT No PS Top USB2.0 Audio
Cons:Lack of fans
Pros:Tool-less, cable management Comment:
ordered this case to put together an older system I had laying around for a friend. I liked the case so much I kept it and gave them my old one haha. Very easy to work with, ample space inside and looks good to boot. Only thing I wasn't happy with was the lack of fans. One one top would have been nice! |

This is a good case for a budget. Has everything you need to start off. Looks really good with aftermarket LED's added inside. I'm very happy with how it turned out. Free USB 3.0 upgrade is great too. |

Cons:HDD/DVD Mount
Pros:Looks NiceEasy To Work WithSturdy ConstructionPrice Comment:
Overall this is a pretty nice case, on sale for $59.99 with a free USB upgrade kit. The case is overall sturdy and easy to install everything, the only thing I don't like is that the HDD/DVD mounting brackets are cheap and flimsy. |

Bitfenix Shinobi Window ATX Mid Tower Case White 3X5.25EXT 8X3.5INT No PS Top USB2.0 Audio
Cons:Not much really.
Pros:Amazing looking case. First time building a shinobi case and I must say, it is impressive. Comment:
The price of this case isn't somewhere near the middle so you won't really get the high end specs you'd expect from a 100+ case but you would still get a decent looking case. Highly recommended for a first build, or if unsure with which white case to get. No regrets. |

Bitfenix Shinobi Window ATX Mid Tower Case White 3X5.25EXT 8X3.5INT No PS Top USB2.0 Audio
Cons:Some parts of this case are made of plastic. Would have been nice to see more steel.
Pros:Nice white colour scheme. Good cable management. Included a few fans. Comment:
Switching over from an Antec 900 (1st generation) is night and day. Just having cable management is amazing, so that I don't have to have wires going everywhere. Because of this good cable management, airflow is also much better. I wished Bitfenix offered more case fans with this case, but that's all right, I just used my old case fans. |

Bitfenix Shinobi Window ATX Mid Tower Case White 3X5.25EXT 8X3.5INT No PS Top USB2.0 Audio
Cons:dust filters on bottom of case are quite flimsy and seem to need a piece of tape to hold the one side up.
Pros:Fit & Finish is excellent Comment:
I was a bit skeptical at first at the depth of this case however I can Confirm 100% that the Noctua NH-D14 has no clearance issues close but it clears the side panel with no issues or modifications required .With that out of the way it everything fits, case temps are decent with stock fans 1 front and 1 rear. Now if only NCIX stocked the white fans to match :)I'd be happy.I do like the soft touch finish is a good idea however it will be interesting to see how easily it will clean. |
When picking out my case, I chose it based on looks first, features second, and price third. I decided on the Shinobi because it was a great balance of these things. The first thing that I about the Shinobi was the color options: Black or White. They’re both lovely, but I was brawn to the white since it’s a less common case color, without sticking out in a bad way. The case has a very sleek form factor, with clean lines, a soft power finish (no fingerprints!), and some added texture from the mesh details. The Shinobi comes in Window and non-window versions to see the inside of the case; the Window seems to have slightly better features (tool-less install, etc) and a place on the Window for a fan allows even more ventilation. While at first I liked the blue strips that come with a white case, I decided to switch them out for another color. Luckily, Bitfenix offers replacement mesh strips (and logos for the front of the case!) in many colors at various online retailers. If you want to make your own custom color (I wanted silver), the strips can be removed from the case relatively easily and spray-painted. Bitfenix also offers Drive Bay covers to camouflage your drives to match the case; I found the hue of my cover did not perfectly match the case. You can read more about that in my review on the cover’s product page.Size wise, it’s middle of the line for a Mid Tower. I didn’t want anything too bulky to fit comfortably under my desk, but still large enough to fit my GPU (~10.5 in) and allow good air flow. This was the perfect size for me, although you should check the dimensions of your components to make sure this case can accommodate your needs. The Shinobi is a really lovely case that was a very easy build for my first time (with help). It offers the right amount of features, is a good size, and the pricing is VERY competitive. I might’ve paid twice as much, if I had to!Cons: The Power indicator light is a VERY bright blue LED. Like, light-up-a-dark-room bright. It’s impossible not to see in my periphery constantly if I don’t keep it covered. If you plan to bedazzle this thing with a ton of LEDs this might not be an issue for you.Like another reviewer said, the manual is a bit unhelpful. The case isn’t super complicated, though, so trying a step a couple different ways is usually enough to figure out the right approach.
