Bought this to help cool my Thermalright AXP-140 better after moving to a hot apartment. Was running a Noctua P12, and the noise difference is unnoticable. When I installed this fan, I also changed my antec 900s top fan to medium from low. That fan is by far the loudest in my computer currently (noctua is still installed on the side panel). Temperatures are at 36 idle 53 load on an overlocked E7400 (3.5Ghz), which is great for how warm the apartment is (never drops below 24 degrees, goes as high as 28). Highly Recommend this fan, especially if you're running a 120mm fan on a cooler that has a 140mm fan option. The noctua is great, but nearly 90cfm and the same noise level makes this a no brainer. |
well made and good airflow from a fairly quiet fan. nice all black look
