Cons:
Low ink level automatically blocks printing. Have to buy another cartridge in order to continue usage.Print quality is not the greatest.Ink runs out fast due to "cleansing" technology. Cannot be disabled.Wi-Fi connectivity has issues.

many great features, i love the fact that its wireless, and you dont even need a computer to use it,if you have a memory stick or a sd card you can print from it or scan documents onto them, i highly recommend it, the only thing i dont like is the price of ink, its about 15 dollars a color and 25 for black, but it saves a bit money because you can buy individual colors instead of replacing all 3 at once |
I got this under $100 on sale but still this was the worst purchase I have ever made. Brother is known for its laser printers but they managed to really screw this ink jet very well. I guess they should stick to Laser printing. Self-cleansing technology drains your ink every 48hrs regardless of what you want to do about it. Unless you buy a new cartridge, you cannot use the printer - very lame Brother's punch under the belt. Fax functionality is kind of weird. You have to manually press buttons to receive fax so if you are not home - out of luck.My buddy bought the same printer - same issues. Would not recommend.Wi-Fi drops out quite often. Switched back to the USB connection.
