Buffalo AirStation N-Technology Wireless-N150 Ultra Compact USB 2.0 Adapter
Cons:Range is not so great
Pros:CheapPortable Comment:
Got these for $9.99, it's range is not exceptional when paired with my Linksys WRT160N but it's stable from 5m away through one wall. Tried this adapter with a Valet M10 about 10m away through 2 walls and the signal just evaporated. |

Wasn't expecting much at the sale price, but it works fine and has a small enough profile that it's almost invisible. |

Buffalo AirStation N-Technology Wireless-N150 Ultra Compact USB 2.0 Adapter
Cons:Signal strength is weak.
Pros:Small form factor, you won't even notice it there except for the blue LED that flickers when there's traffic. $9.99 on sale. Comment:
I bought two of these, one for me and and one for my brother-in-law. His works great, his router is located in a bedroom that connects to the living room where his computer is located. Mine on the other hand would not detect my router or when it did it would take forever to connect. When it did connect it would show 50% or less signal strength and my router is located in a bedroom not that far from my HTPC in my living room, My cell phone reads 100% signal strength at the same location! When it's connected it'll constantly drop signals consistently and won't be able to find my router, until i disconnect the adapter out of the USB and plug it back in. It may work well for some, but I for one will not buy again. I would give it a 2 stars but i can't find my order number on my receipt. |
