Cons:-Took some time to get to work under Win XP 32. -Driver package from the company website is a huge file. Not a huge con, but at least make sure you bring with you a flash drive with the drivers if you're installing this key for somebody else.
Pros:-Small-Cheap-Works great Comment:
On win XP, you need to get on the internet to download the drivers which is the reason why I bought this wireless key. So I had to go on a different computer to download the drivers. You can't download drivers by themselves. You have to download a big 260mb file "AirNavigator", which includes all the drivers for many more products, as well as utilities that you don't need. This usb adapter is really small, and comes in a box just a big bigger than a deck of cards. 2 stickers on the box, the one from NCIX, and the one with the model number. Inside the box, 2 small pieces of paper. One is the warranty statement and the other one is how to contact them and where to download drivers. |
I bought this for a computer that is a floor above the router thinking it was a great price. The problem was that the reception was just not viable: may have to return this.
