CANON DK1000I USB CALCULATOR
Cons:My trackball does not work.Severe issues with glare."Send" key for results sends an "enter" key press after each send operation with no option to turn this off.Keys not full size.No drivers for customization.
Pros:No drivers requiredInternal cable storage works wellFull function calculator12 digit display is a great improvement over calculators with smaller displays Comment:
I received this calculator and the first thing I noticed is how small the keys are. This is not a suitable number pad replacement for those with large hands. Better than nothing on a laptop tho.Next thing I noticed is that there is no way to reduce glare on the screen (adjustable display, light shield or matte finish. After I started using it I found that the trackball would fail to move the cursor downward much of the time. I was also faced with the problem that when pressing the "send" key the calculator not only sends the result but an "enter" key press. This needs to bu customizable to be either enter, tab or nothing. This feels like a good product idea that is underdeveloped/designed and needs refinement. |

CANON DK1000I USB CALCULATOR
Cons:Size, it's huge!
Pros:Price (when on sale) Comment:
I bought one of these not realizing quite how large it is. I expected it to be about half the size. As others have said, it's not worth full price. |

CANON DK1000I USB CALCULATOR
Cons:Trackball is terrible.L/R trackball buttons and arrow keys feel flimsy.
Pros:Spring loaded retractable USB Cable.Solar powered.Decimal place and round up/down switches above trackball.Calculator keys feel sturdy. Comment:
Good deal if you can get it on sale, but not worth the full price IMO. Could be very useful if you do a lot of data entry or simple math on a laptop. |

CANON DK1000I USB CALCULATOR
Cons:Not great as a numpad for a laptop.
Pros:Well made. Solar powered. Comment:
This is a pretty cool product. It's a calculator first then a substitute for a keypad. If you're looking for a keypad, I'd recommend soemthing else as the keys aren't really large enough for a proper keypad.Overall a decent buy (I think it's pretty much always on sale) with a calculator (standalone) and a decent keypad |

Pros:Great for laptop Comment:
Works great on the laptop for calculations and especially the keypad while on the go in the truck have not needed the trackball function just yet but may prove useful in my PDF invoice forms. |
