Got this on sale for dirt cheap a while back. Runs fine so far, been a few years, no complaints, although I switched out the fan for 2 high-powered fans. With the 2 fans, and lots of other fans in a mid-tower, I get consistent temps under 30C for a 4670K on regular load. I recommend you switch out the fan for 2 more powerful ones, and you should be good to go from there.

nearly inaudible at full load, the cpu temperature at full load is a little bit higher that the stock amd fx-8350 at idle. is you still have your stock retail box heatsink fan, buy it today !

Overall the CPU fan and heat-sink is great.I have a Intel 4460 Quad core CPU and it usually heats to 85C when playing games with the regular fan and heat-sink that comes with the CPU but the Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO keeps it at 20C and a max of 35C.A very good buy.

I have six fans in a Cooler Master Sniper Mid-Tower Case. Two 200mm and a 120mm fans came with the case. I did some modifications and I added two more 200mm and one 120mm fans inside the Sniper by using a electric drill to make extra holes. And the Cooler Master 212 EVO on the CPU would make seven.The temps 20 to 25 on idle and 30 to 35 on full load I don't give all the credit to the CPU fan but it does help in keeping the temps down.

Had a bit of trouble mounting the backplate to my motherboard, but the end result was a sturdily installed cooler that keeps my 4690K nice and relaxed. Hasn't bummed out on me like the Corsair H60 I got. :P

Good all around heat sink, pretty quiet. If you plan on OC'ing or you're a hardcore gamer playing in 4k res, then this won't cut it. More of a entry level/casual gamer type heat sink.

I want to use this product for my cpu cooling. I read review And it's highly recommended. Good value for money especially when you buy one is discounted price.So far I have to issue. It's just having hard time to install the bracket but finally got it. Also there is a bit room to play once it's installed but that's normal.

nice budget cooler for overclocking. Suggest at least have mid tower for it to fit in. Noiser than those 50$+ cooler, anyway you get what you pay for.

I just finished installing this CPU cooler, plus added a second Cooler Master 120mm fan to the other side, in a push-pull configuration. Mostly because it balances out the look of the cooler. It comes with brackets to allow you to do that.Install was a bit labour intensive, but I didn't list that as a con because I think any aftermarket cooler would require the same amount of work. Basically, you need to attach a mounting plate to the bottom of the motherboard, replacing the stock one. My case doesn't allow me access to the back of the motherboard, so I had to take my whole system apart to get the motherboard out, then rebuild it again. But let's be honest, anyone buying a cooler like this is going to enjoy that process anyway.This thing is freaking tall... my case is 7.5" wide on the outside, and this cooler is listed as 6.3" tall, but it sticks out beyond the end of my case. I need a case about 0.5" wider to accommodate this cooler, at least. I don't usually have a side on my case anyway, so I wasn't concerned about the size.Performance: With the OEM cooler, my CPU was running about 59°c at rest, hitting about 75° under full load, with the cooler fan running at maximum, which was VERY loud. Now, my CPU is running about 34°, and hit about 51° under full load. The fans were running, but they were barely audible.

Replaced my old water cool, and this surprisingly performs better by around 8 degrees cooler! I should have bought this cooler in the first place. It has less moving parts than water cool. Plus, its fan also cool my RAM with its design position. Superb product!

This is the best cooler you can buy for $30-$35. Even if you don't plan on overclocking this thing will crush any stock cooler in idle and load temps.

One of the best budget coolers in the market. When this is on sale it is worth every penny. The mounting is a pain, but once its on, it performs like a monster.

This is the best bang for buck CPU cooler ever made. I own the almost identical (different fan) 212 Plus version. Recommended upgrade over your stock cooler, combined with any high performance thermal paste.Fact: keeps my fx-8350 u 4.4 GHz stable

I have installed about 4 of these in systems over the past year and even use one myself. They do a great job cooling i5 and i7 CPUs, even when overclocking. On sale you can find these for around $29 or so, which is a steal.

For the price of this cooler it works great. Installation was easy, but may be a little tricky if this is your 1st time installing aftermarket parts. At full load my cpu went no higher then 39C. (I'm not counting the gpu temp. in this case. Just all of the other temps.) I have an old cpu - Intel Core i7 960 3.0ghz lga1366. (yes, I need to upgrade lol)All in all this is a great cooler and for the price you can't go wrong. I haven't attempted any overclocking of anything so these temps. are at stock speeds. Great little heatsink. Not gunna put a hole in your pocket and it keeps my AMD 8350 8 Core cpu OC'd to 4.5ghz nicely cool. (Check out my review on it!)

Easy to install, the heatsink can still twist if you try to move it but it does not seem to impact performance. Passively cooling a X4 925 with the airflow of the case. Stay around 30-33 degrees Celsius.
