I went by the other review that said it helped the oversize laptop. I own a very large computer - and although I think the cooler helps -I cannot keep my computer on for hours. Will keep the cooler because it still helps a little - like the other reviewer said

wasnt so sure this cooler would be wide enough to cover my laptop almost. does keep the laptop from being a stove burner. would recommend for wide laptops

Could be more powerfull. Cable look a bit fragile. Not for a carry everywhere heavy service. But does the job with my HP Pavillon at home. It feels a lot cooler.

This product was purchased for my birthday by a friend for my because he knew that the fan inside my HP laptop was going bad. The internal temperature spikes up to about 80C after it was on for about 10 mins. This product keeps the temperature around 60C now (still not prefect but a lot better). I wish it had a USB hub built in tho it just has a extra usb port to replace the one it took. Also i wish the fans move a bit more air but it is extremely silent.
