COOLER MASTER R4-BM8S-30PK-R0 Blade Master Case Fan
Cons:pricematch needed
Pros:good build quality with pwm Comment:
neededsome quiet fans. at 3000rpm these fans are noisy but pwm control lets them operate aslow as 800 rpm still moves decent air at 1400rpm and quiet.using 4 push pull on hw labs m160 rad. |

COOLER MASTER R4-BM8S-30PK-R0 Blade Master Case Fan
Cons:None yet discovered
Pros:PWM speed control Comment:
The true test of a fan in a critical application is its long-term reliability, and I've only just gotten it so can't offer anything meaningful in that regard.I will say that the two specimens I got to replace existing fans are no louder than the non-name originals while claiming to produce about 10 CFM *more* airflow at the top-end; there's little to no whine my ears can hear over ambient, and the wind noise is noticeable but not distracting when the fans run at full tilt. Throttled, they can be quite unobtrusive. |

COOLER MASTER R4-BM8S-30PK-R0 Blade Master Case Fan
Cons:None
Pros:Great price, quiet operation. Comment:
I replaced 3 older Antec Tri Cool fans with these ones and I must say the first thing I did notice was how quiet they were in comparison with the Antecs. You could barely tell that they were running. I like the fact that these are PWM fans. With a price match, I was able to get these at an awesome price. Overall, these are a good match for my older Lian Li PC60B case. Highly recommended. |

COOLER MASTER R4-BM8S-30PK-R0 Blade Master Case Fan
Cons:
-None
Pros: -Quiet-Functional-Price Comment:
I bought this fan as a case fan to help cool the case. So far my experience with this fan has been positive. It's fairly quiet and I had to put my ear next to the fan to make sure that it was spinning. Overall a decent fan and I would purchase it again. |

not such a good deal
Comment:
This fan didn't cost a lot, however, it would have been nice if the holes in the fan case lined up with the screws on the cpu which had to be bent to make the fan fit. That made this product drop drastically in value for me. |

A good deal!
Comment:
This is a great fan for the price, very silent and solid construction! |
I'm not sure if the problem lies with my motherboard (Gigabyte H77N-WIFI) or the fan, but even with the BIOS set at it's SILENT fan control setting, this fan starts at 1200 RPM and quickly stabilizes at about 1500 RPM, which is way too fast, and noisy for a cool, idle system. HWMonitor also doesn't seem to detect it as a PWM fan.I replaced it with a GELID Silent 8 3pin fan, which spins much slower, and as a result, much quieter. This fan would be quiet if it would spin as slow as 800 RPM.
