COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 Case Fan
Cons:none
Pros:quietcheap Comment:
Works as a fan should. It blows air, and is incredibly quiet. The installation of the fan was a breeze, and it seems to be working without an issue. I'm quite happy with it. |

COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 Case Fan
Cons:None
Pros:Very Quiet, Nice Airflow Comment:
I got this fan for the bottom opening on my case to intake some air. It runs at 1400 RPM and you can't hear it unless you close to it. My system temp also went down by 1 degree. Reduced my idle CPU temp by 3 degrees, very great fan. |

COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 Case Fan
Cons:Not as quite as I would have hoped. And it has a very short power lead.
Pros:Not as loud as my last fan. Comment:
Purchased this thinking that I wouldn't hear the fan too much. I wasn't impressed. Will try a different brand in the future. But I do have to say that it is not as load as a fan that cost me much more. Seeking an extesion to allow me plug it into my motherboard direcly. Using an ASUS older motherboard an the plug in location is on the other side. |

COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 Case Fan
Cons:expensive
Pros:ultra silent Comment:
it's a bit more expensive but in order to make an ultra silent pc I have no choice (because I'm a coolermaster fans).Everything is good and just wait for its "on sale" day at that time I could buy more. |

COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 Case Fan
Cons:None so far
Pros:Quiet and inexpensive Comment:
These fans are definitely on the quiet side. Unless your room is totally quiet, you will hardly hear them at all. |

COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 Case Fan

COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 Case Fan
Cons:-motor has a slight noise to it and fan hear some air flow.-one of two fans bought had an annoying but nearly silent tapping\ticking noise.-More like 20dba+ cause of the slight motor noise.
Pros:-low cost-nearly silent-comes with extra cable for 3 or 4 pin mounting Comment:
I bought 2 of these fans and used both with slightly different results. First fan had a nearly silent but very irritating tapping\ticking noise like the fan was out of balance. Even with a fan control on low the tapping\ticking noise was still there. The second fan didn't have this issue but has a little bit of motor noise. If the other fan didn't have that tapping noise I would give this a 5. Considering the price I couldn't expect much better than the second fan I used. This is one of the more silent fans I have used. Only bested by a chieftech attached to a fan control on low speed and the sightly more expensive but best ever used Arctic Cooling Arctic 8L Low Speed 80MM cooling fan(limited to exhaust position. Want to know more about this fan just mentioned read my product review.Overall, best value for unrestricted mounting at a rock bottom price. On a fan speed control at lower fan speeds it is what most would deem silent but you'll have very little air flow. This review was modfied by poster @ 12-30-06 02:49 PM |

COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 Case Fan

COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 Case Fan
Cons:Does not push a lot of air (but that's an expected and acceptable function of the design).
Pros:Virtually inaudible fan! Comment:
Very quiet fan. However, it doesn't work with Intel Hardware Monitoring because it doesn't spin until it gets ~6v, whereas the Intel fan control ASIC expects low-speed air movement at 3.85v. Be careful if you intend on using this fan with an Intel mobo! |

COOLER MASTER SAF-S84-E1 Case Fan
Cons:wire is a little short
Pros:very quiet, good cooling Comment:
this is very quiet, i can't hear it at all unless i have my ear right up to it, this is the fan to get if you want the best cooling with no noise |
Like all the other Cooler Master product I have purchased, this fan rocks! It moves a large amount of air and is very quiet. It also feels very well built, and has so far been very reliable. Awesome fan at an awesome price.
