Installed it the day I got it - it works. It's a pretty standard power supply, not much to say about it. It's not modular, so be ready to deal with lots of cables; I installed in a significant case, so no issues, but if you are tight for space, this may possibly not be a great decision for you. Came with a tiny box labeled "power cord and screws" - there had been no screws in the box. I do a lot of making so I had mounting screws on hand; would have been a hassle otherwise. I deducted 1 egg for this, and for the rebate nonsense. The quantity of hoops you have to jump by means of to get the rebate for this is ridiculous. I hate rebates normally, but now I will no longer consider any rebate as worth the time and difficulty. I comprehend this nonsense originates with the vendor, by NewEgg has to take some responsibility for enabling this travesty to be visited upon their consumers. |

Very quiet! Good build quality and the weight is a bit much less, bringing down the overall weight of your pc substantially. A lot more than sufficient cables for me. Also came with a power cable, as opposed to some other less expensive PSUs. Warning: no screws included! They're regular and should have come with your mobo/case anyway.SATA plugs had been a small tight almost certainly because they're new- although this is a style flaw in SATA, not necessarily only in this PSU. Fantastic PSU. Brand isn't every thing (though warranty is very significant if you know what I mean....) |
Affordable and seems to function well. Not loud and lots of cables. The rebate is a con.
