Refurbished an older comp for my dad, This is his first computer so he really just needed something to give him a chance to learn on. Picked up 2x1 gig sticks, and they worked without a hitch. Would buy again if needed, Kinston Value ram have allways worked well for this Kind of an upgrade |

Good ram I got one stick of this to put in my ubuntu box and it works great. It is a tad pricey and I wish it came with heatspreaders. Think ill get another stick in the future. |

got 2G's for my old pc hope to get more use out of it so far with a new video card and 2 gigs of ram it runs windows 7 great.out of two sticks one was DOA RMA'd it and got a functioning replacement now have 2 full gigs that work great.ok price could have been cheaper but for hard to find old hardware what do you expect. |

I had been searching for 3 gigs of older DDR memory for a while, since I wasn't prepared to pay a lot to upgrade an older system. This is an IBM ThinkCentre M50 8189 (Pentium 4) which had only 512 megs of RAM. Going to 3 gigs (3 sticks) made a whopping difference running XP. The system is much more responsive due to less disk swapping. I only see 3 gigs, though, and I was hoping to see 3.5 gigs with the original RAM stick left in slot 1. The new sticks are in the other 3 slots. |

Bought this to upgrade a client's PC from 512mb to 1.5mb of system RAM. Typical installation and stability seems to be great so far. If you need an old stick of DDR Ram, you can't go wrong here. |

Cons:It's DDR333, don't expect any miracles. Most brands are identical, so go for the cheapest available.
Pros:Maxed out a socket A motherboard with 2 sticks of this. Running at stock timings; upgraded from a single 512mb stick of Corsair XMS DDR333. Cheap and fast. Worth the upgrade. Comment:
Arrived in 36 hours. Corsair has been really great with the rebate support. Fast, reliable (already did a 12-hour Memtest burn-in), and well worth the upgrade if you're running an older system and would still like to keep it viable. |

Got 2 of these to fix up my other slots with a properly matched pair. Couldn't be happier and I am thinking I'll pick up another stick as soon as I can ...yup I will for sure.Was having some issues with mix and match stuff I had gotten over the years and wasn't performing to my standards. Just installed a cherry picked/unlocked CPU so these will go a long way to maximizing it's potential with the tweaking. |
