I found this ram is really good. It took me 2 minutes to install in my C2D MBP and never ran into any problems. Noticed a significant boost in multi-tasking.However, there's been a huge increase in the temperature... the notebook temperature increased substantially and you can feel it to the left of the trackpad. its not too bothersome... but if you plan to put it on your lap... make sure u aren't wearing too much... because it gets hot. |

The RAM was a very good price. I put it in my intel mac along with the original 512mb and it just works. One thing that kind of got to me was the inability to boot after I switched to boot camp and switched back. I had to take out the ram and put it back in. I have not retried it yet to test if that's a real problem. |

Even it is marked as MAC ram, it is a standard DDR2 SODIMM. Normally, MAC ram is more expensive, but this one is cheaper. Using it on my Lenovo 3000 without any problem. |

Good stuff, works perfectly with my HP Pavilion dv9106. was a bit concerned , but after reading stuff on it, pretty much just ddr2-5300. Vistas definitely faster with more memory, huge boost from 1gig to 2gigs. just need a thumb drive now:)
