CORSAIR 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:None
Pros:StableCheapHigh Compatiblity Comment:
Paired these up with an AsRock Dual-VSTA motherboard & haven't looked back. These even run at the 1T command rate in dual channel & was a nice boost in performance over the old 1gb kit of DDR400 previoiusly installed. This is very affordable upgrade to 2gbs of RAM & as long as you don't overclock this will do just fine (although this can reach DDR2800) since you would see more of a performance boost by upgrading your CPU.Lifetime warranty, high compatibility & Corsair's reputation sold me on these & I highly recommend them, especially now that the price has dropped. |

Worked fine with my DG965WH. Haven't been able to see how well it overclocks since the board doesn't support it, but its been rock solid so far. Always happy with Corsair memory. |

CORSAIR 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:None so far
Pros:Seems very stable using Asus P5B motherboard Comment:
I would like to overclock this ram to 400 mhz. Just curious Cyd, did you use the Asus AI suite software to overclock your ram? Does anyone have a good link to overclocking this ram with the P5B mobo? |

CORSAIR 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:none
Pros:Price/value, stability, great OCR Comment:
Don't be shy this RAM can climb...This is great RAM, rated vDimm=1.9 at stock frequency of 333Mhz k 5-5-5-15. I have got this RAM up and super stable at 400Mhz k 4-4-4-12 timing! with vDimm= 2.1 and FSB termination voltage set to 1.4 on my P5B mobo (tested with 12hrs Dual-Prime95 torture Test and 12hrs with memtest86). Make a greats combo with your Conroe E6300 set at 1:1 FSB/DRAM at 400 and climb to 2.8 GHz. Just make sure everything gets good air! |

CORSAIR 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:Not for OC'er
Pros:Awesome Value Ram for ConroeCheapStable Comment:
I got this set for under $240 and it is well worth it. I use it with my E6300. I couldn't increase the frequency but I could "OC" the timing. I am currently using the same timings recommend if this memory was run at DDR2-533 instead of DDR2-667 speed. So, effectively, it CAN be OC'ed, but just not over 667. |

CORSAIR 2GB (2 x 1GB) 240-Pin DDR2 SDRAM Desktop Memory
Cons:-Not Overclockable
Pros:-Reliable-No Errors Comment:
This memory is serving me quite well, and I think the only disadvantage is that I cannot overclock these modules very high. In fact, I've experienced problems with even a 10 Mhz increase, so I'd avoid these if your plan is to OC. |
For $114, they cannot be beat! Mine overclocked to 390 FSB at stock timings and default voltage. With a little more adjustment, they'll probably hit 400. Would purchase again.
