Non-modular is annoying.
Pros: Tons of power for the regular gaming rig |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:
non-modular so extra unused cables have to go somewhere, in a big bundle usually
Pros: Very solidlots of connectionsready for SLI or CF setups Comment:
Got this for my new gaming/video editing rig and I'm happy with it. It's capable of powering (2) 8-pin video cards also, for SLI or CF. Lots of sata and molex power plugs, as well as the typical 24 and 8 pin motherboard connections. I got it on a MIR sale price so it was a good deal for 850W; large enough for all my needs. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:
Cable jackets made cables a little stiff to work with. Not a huge problem though.
Pros: Runs cool and quiet. Has many connectors. Comment:
I bought this PSU with the intention of not being limited by it. So far I am very pleased. I was concerned about the neatness of the spare cables, but with a big case I was able to get them into a small enough bunch that I don't mind them along the bottom corner. Also, I'm not sure if this is by design but I found when hooking up my SATA hdd I had to flip the power connector 180 degrees from the way it wanted to sit to connect it. Then, when I went to connect a second hdd with the next connector along the same cable, I had to flip that one too! It worked but flustered me a bit, especially with the semi-stiff cable. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:
-Very noisy
Pros: -Lots of Connectors, Good cable length, and cables are sleeved-Admirable performance, nothing to complaint about. Comment:
I purchased this power supply after I realized that my aging Seasonic 500w psu could not power heavily overclocked I5 760 and a pair of HD4890's in crossfire. The cables are nicely sleeved and does not obstruct airflow in a case. The performance is just fine, handling the load easily. However, my biggest complaint is the noise level, I thought the 140mm fan would be able to stay relatively quiet, but compared to my old Seasonic, which was inaudible over my other case fans, this unit is significantly louder than all my other 9 fans combined. But I suppose this has its advantages since the unit does stay cooler to the touch compared to my old Seasonic S12. Still... I wish I spent a bit more money on another quieter Seasonic model. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:
- Maybe not
Pros: + Powerfull+ Love that you can see the corsair logo at the back of the case Comment:
Using this to power a 5850, AMD Phenom II X6, two Hard Drives, a blu-ray burner, a dvd burner, a fan controler and a media card reader with out problems. I'm confident it could tackle more. Will be fine if I decide to upgrade to a second video card, or third hard drive. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:
non-modular
Pros: - plenty of power for overclocking and SLI (at least 2-way maybe more)- good brand and warranty- sleeved cables (though it doesn't quite reach the ends)- quality construction and components (e.g. caps, fans) inside- SLI compliance Comment:
I didn't plan to take my computer apart very often so I went non-modular to save money. I don't regret that but if you do want a really neat build and/or plan on taking stuff apart regularly it's probably worth going modular. This is a really nice package. Nice accessories, good looking flat paint job, professional look. The self-regulating fan is very quiet to me, I hear no stray noise in the form of hums or buzzes from my unit.I was able to overclock a 920 to 4.2 GHz so I guess that's somewhat of a testament to the quality of the power (and while also supporting at GTX 470 and a couple drives). |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:
-Not modular (But we knew this before buying) so not really a con
Pros: -Brand name-Very well priced-Design-Quiet-High quality power-Efficient-Long cables Comment:
I had this power supply for about a week so I cannot say too much about it yet except that it runs quiet, nice clean power to all components. It is powering a single GTX 480, Core i7 930, and a WD Caviar Black 1TB hard drive with no problems. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:Excessive Packaging - Foam plus a silly velvet bag?
Pros:Corsair QualityQuietClean Power Comment:
I have used Corsair 650w supplies in several rigs and stepped up to this 850w for a Core-i7 build with plans for 5850's in crossfire and raid. This supply is a real bargain on sale for just $120 when you see how well made it is. Power is clean and there are enough connectors for everything. Only problem is hiding all the unused cables as they are bulky. Oh, and the packaging is just silly - the supply is packed in foam (good) but also has a "Crown Royal" style velvet bag (dumb). |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:Big...
Pros:Big! Colourful! Comment:
An excellent power supply, and it came in my favourite colour scheme, black and yellow. The fan is nearly silent, although I would have personally liked to see a modular version...Nonetheless, an excellent purchase - it is powering my rig with oodles to spare. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:-Not modular-Hard to use in a bottom-mount case
Pros:-More than enough power for most (if not all) configurations-Quiet-Cheap (on sale)-Looks slick-Came in a nice bag :O Comment:
A great PSU that looks nice and was inexpensive. I use it on a 5850 card with a few HDDs, but no doubt it could hold another few drives and another video card. Watch out though: its not modular, and the cabling can be hard to deal with (at least they give you some ties) |

It sure is a power supply
Comment:
It's a power supply, it has the connectors you need to hook up any modern system. I would like it if they lost the ridiculous Crown Royal style velvet bag and charged me a buck less... |

Great value and rock solid with 2 GTX 285's
Comment:
This is a great value when it's on sale. I paid $90 or so shipped, and you can't go wrong with a corsair at that price. Runs my 2 gtx 285's overclocked rock solid, plus 4 drives, a overclocked quad core, 5 fans, etc. |

Couldn't be Better
Comment:
I can't tell you how nice this power supply is! Not only does it look very cool, but it fit perfectly, the directions were awesome and it went in, fit, hooked up and worked first try! A 10 minute job and I was back up running. I have built my own systems before bu I believe a novice could do this. Buy it, you won't be sorry that you did. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:Cables are very stiff.
Pros:Delivers solid power, extremely quiet. Comment:
I bought this power supply to ensure I could add more and bigger video cards over time. It's overkill right now for what I've got, but electricity is cheap in Quebec! It stays quiet under load, has a solid warranty, and is definitely a bargain when on sale. I don't know if I'd pay full price for it, and the cables are a little stiff for those that like to manage them thoroughly, but it comes with nice accessories like the sort of bag you could slide a bottle of spirits in and be a real Corsair pirate! |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series CMPSU-850TX 850W Power Supply
Cons:Not modular is really the only one I can think of.
Pros:Nice extras in the box. Velvet cushy bag for the PSU, cool embossed Corsair sticker. Zip ties. 70 amps on dedicated single 12v rail. 850 watts of gaming goodness! 140mm yate loon fan keeps it cool Comment:
I pretty much posted everything in the strengths and weaknesses...It is just a power supply after all. I had to replace my OCZ gameXstream 700 as it was not providing enough amps to my GTX 280. |

Corsair 850W PSU - Good Stuff!
Comment:
Upgrading video cards and require more juice. was going to get a 600w, but was a great deal for a great product. Well built, sturdy. |
Make sure you need a non-modular power supply or you have lots of room in your case. I have a window in my case and it's kind of a mess in there due to all the cables. That being said, good power supply with lots of juice.
