It's a 950w PSU Not modular. Made by corsair.... Straight right after setting up it would generally run with a high pitched whir. Then approx. four days later it just died in mid usage. Taking into consideration a PSU is fairly considerably the simplest device in a Pc i see no purpose why they need to be dying out this quickly. |

When the unit surged it did its job excellently and protected all elements in my program. A ton of SATA and 4 pins.Great client service from Corsair, don't have adequate very good words for their service.Value effective unit. A single of the less costly at it's wattage. Worth any added cash to buy from Corsair. The only true con is the insane quantity of cables this provide has. It was virtually impossible to preserve my HAF 922 clean with this supply in it. If this unit was modular it would seal a 5 star, but the extra hours of effort it took to hide the 12 added SATA connections and 12 further four pin connection dropped my rating to four. Process:HAF 922Gigabyte X58a-UD3r moboSapphire 5970Intel i7 9308gb Ɣx2gb) GSKILL 2000 ramScythe Mugen 2BSoon after RMA went out and bought the Corsair 1000 watt provide that is modular. Not for disliking this model, but I just truly didn't want to have to deal with all the cables once again. I Enjoy Corsair and will under no circumstances get an additional firm's power supply. |

Strong unit, tons of cables, looks quite very good. I'm running a quad-core AMD, 1 ATi video card, and a SATA RAID. I got a beefy power supply so I could be ready to double-up the video card later. As absolutely everyone says, non-modular and tons of cables. Also, following a few months the Pc I built with this wouldn't turn on following I had unplugged it to move it. Soon after letting it sit overnight it ultimately turned on again. Soon after having this occur a number of instances (and it was finding worse), I swapped out the PSU with yet another and that was the correct move. This Corsair was to blame. Have however to RMA/warranty but there are other unfavorable critiques about the wait time on client service... Every single manufacturer will have defective units, but it's all about how they mitigate them by superior testing/quality control or by greater customer service. Is Corsair undertaking enough on each ends? |

Quiet. 3 pairs of 6ư pin PCI-E connectors for high finish video cards. Powering a Core i7 920 with two EVGA GTX470's in SLI, 3 WD Caviar Blacks and 5 120mm fans no dilemma. Wire sleeving is desirable and almost certainly helpful if you cheaped out on your case and have sharp edges. Molex/Sata power chains are Very lengthy, and most modern day rigs could do without having Molex altogether. Cable management in my Cooler Master RC-690 (a great sized mid tower) was a bit of an exciting physical exercise. corsair ɛ |

quiet, long cables, power, price tag Older model 905TXs do not work with ASUS P6T* motherboard. Purchased one particular from newegg final year for a Q9550 develop, power four HDD, a pair of ATI 4850s, and all the usual stuffs, in no way a difficulty... Until I moved it to a i7 930 develop with 2 ATI 5850s - with a ASUS P6TD mb, it won't POST.Following a lot of googling, contacted newegg, Corsair, and ASUS. Newegg offer you to RMA this brand new 跌 mb, but I didn't take it due to the fact we can't be sure if the replacement has the problem corrected, anyway newegg didn't will need to to that. :) The ASUS men and women pretty significantly brush me off and told my to get a new psu, even although their own forum says to make contact with them. On the other hand, Corsair customer service told my to speak to ASUS, but at the same time offer you to RMA the PSU just in case.Corsair replaced my PSU after six months of use, and the new a is working excellent with my P6TD, 2 5850, 3HDD... I'm content with Corsair. |

-Runs quietly-Dependable power supply-Great quality for this cost and wattage-Value really low for this performance and excellent-IF you have a build that requirements the substantial quantity of connectors that this PSU has, then it will be excellent for you. -lots of cables may well be an inconvenience for some-It won't do household chores for me, even when I ask nicely. This PSU will be great for you, if you are creating a technique which requirements lots of power cables, such as operating graphics cards in SLI/CrossfireX, especially the newer ones that use two six and/or 8 pin hookups. In builds like this you will end up using most of the cables, and this PSU will be great for youIF you're going with a simpler develop, you WILL uncover that you have much more cables than can be comfortably dealt with in the absence of great cable management. If you don't want all the cables, then you will most likely want to appear elsewhere for your power supply.modularity adds expense; Corsair is a single of the best brands in the industry for goods like this, and at this price tag point you won't get a better deal for a PSU, if this a single fits your needs. |

* Has every single cable you'll ever need to have.* Almost everything is sleeved.* Wonderful at keeping itself cool.* Its not loud at all.* Power and far more Power. Enough to power 3 GPUs. Good for people who are willing to go the additional mile and do water cooling and other such neat things.* It only price me about 贄* Cables aren't stiff and can bend fairly well. It makes for tucking away cables in tight spots simple. * Also Numerous cables. Its much better suited for a server tower than a standard gaming Pc (Though I do have 5 difficult drives)* Its heavy. The thing is a beast.* Its not modular. All individuals cables have to be placed someplace. Superior hope you have space for it in your situation.* This is not meant for smaller circumstances. In most cases only a full tower can probably make use of its space when it comes to figuring out exactly where to place added bundles of wires. So far I've built four PCs using this power supply. This point is good for men and women who want a Computer that can take on additional junk inside with out getting to place up with low power hiccups. I just recommend men and women to try to use the cables wisely. Make positive you sort out the cables you will use and untwist the bundle of wires so that they come out cleanly. Following that its just a matter of figuring out where to place the cables. |

As energy supplies age, they become much less productive so it always tends to make sense to purchase up unless you're putting with each other a new Computer each and every two years. Its been about 3 weeks now and so far no troubles. Positive would be great if organization would offer various length cables, like full tower, half tower and so on. The cables are ridiculously extended, nearly each and every cable could have 3 inches cut off and you would nevertheless have lots, they could even maintain the price tag the exact same between longer and shorter cable alternative and make a bigger profit! The only other complaint I have is there was way to substantially pin moment inside of the plugs, it was a genuine discomfort receiving all the male pin plugs to line up with the female plug holes simply because the the pins kept moving, not in and out, but side to side and up and down moments. Just got this in the mail and fortunately its not DOA. 950 Watts and a fantastic cost. I ordered this on eightቺቦ and got it on 9Ǘቦ. Of course, when I went to get my rebate the monthly rebate provide has now changed for september. So now I am left with "last months" rebate of only บ rather of the ฤ that was listed when I had bought this. Following checking on the corsair website forums it appears this "rebate" would be coming in the mail after 8+ weeks and would come on a debit card for บ. Now this card is also charged ū dollars a month just to have. So in the end I wont be finding the ฤ I wanted from the rebate. Rather I will not even bother with all the forms for a silly บ that is now becoming provided to me. Make certain to check when the posted "rebate" is going to finish and then add in days it will take to mail it to you prior to you spot an order if you hope to get a rebate. Then examine the web page of the corporation for complications with rebates. |

Its a Corsair PSU. Its got plenty of any sort of plug you could want. They've even got two converter cables to run 2 floppies... yeah certain. But, I'd rather have additional then what I need to have then much less. Everyone says it. And its not genuinely a con. Its just that there are so many plugs, so a lot of cords and the cables are so thick. You'll be truly overwhelmed unless you immediately zip tie the connections you don't need to have. The cable lengths had been about proper for my HAF X case. I was concerned that this provide was considerably much less reputable then other Corsair energy supplies based on DOA evaluations. Either Corsair had a bad batch go by means of or I've gotten lucky so far. |

Dead silent for me. I haven't had any of the noise problems that a lot of of the other reviewers seem to have. /shrug. Also the psu itself isn't incredibly huge. The cables are also exceedingly lengthy, which was excellent in my situation. I was able to attach all 6 of my Antec 1200's fans onto a single 4pin cable, along with my sata power adapter for my harddrive and dvd burner (the cable itself has four heads on it), and this isn't a modest situation.Requires up quite little space ... at least the psu doesn't. Cables are a unique story (see beneath). Cables, entire geez cables. You pretty much have adequate jacks for two computers. In my setup I only applied 1 8pin for the cpu power, 1 24pin for the mother board, 2x 6pin connectors for my video card, and 1 4pin cable (the cable has 4x 4pin connectors) for my situation's cooling fans. This left me with A LOT of left over cables, which I ended up possessing to tie up and shove among my psu and the lower front case fan. Luckily I had plenty of space in my situation to keep them out of the way and not jumble up the side window my case. If you have a little situation you're working with and don't have a lot of power specifications, this psu may well not be for you. Even if the power box itself isn't very large, the cables *will* take up a decent quantity of space. If cable management isn't your point, I'd look into a psu that has power cables you can disconnect if you don't need them.Otherwise, if you have a bigger case or a lot of things needing to be powered, I'd recommend this psu. It pumps out the power, and does it dead silent ... for me at least. |
I've been in enjoy with Corsair PSU's for about 4 years now. Energy is the ideal point you can do for your program. If you really like your system, show it that you really like it with a Corsair PSU. none.
