Power output, quantity of connections, quiet. Initial PSU failed about 3 months of use. Long wait time on RMA. I have utilised Corsair products for years, and hardly ever have issues with them. My 950W burned itself out immediately after 3 months. A week from the date I shipped it back to Corsair, received an e-mail asking for extra week just before they could assessment the product. Along with the 20 shipping, was not happy with customer service. |

Potent rails, sufficient power for most gaming computers Incredibly bulky; cables alone took up majority of space in full-sized ATX case (non-modular)Compatibility (driver?) error with personal computer prevented computer from installing or operating any Operating Process. Had to flat-out get rid of PSU for pc to be usable. May well have been a precise issue between the PSU and my particular set-up, but beware, prospective buyers. PSU worked for about a week before it stopped my computer from operating. Watch out. |

Extremely stable and trustworthy energy provide from Corsair. Shouldn't have to worry about upgrading for a lengthy time with 950W. Also efficient and incredibly reasonably priced, I got mine with a rebate. Not modular, so if you don't program on making use of all the cables you have to come across a place to tuck them away. I had to eliminate a HDD cradle to get them out of the way. Otherwise the cables are lengthy enough for good cable management. Nicely packaged. |

i've had this power supply because May well 13th, 2010. i own the MSI NF980-G65 AM3 NVIDIA nForce 980a Mobo, and has worked fantastic considering that day one particular.it runs three GTX 470's, a Phenom II 955 OC'd, and four gb's of DDR3 1600 with no any concerns. it's been great. people say their's too a lot of cables, tho thats the incredibly cause i got this PSU. it's meant for multiple GPU's, and hefty power needs.i have an HAF-922, and whilst anything smaller may be as well cramped, it does fine in this large, mid-tower case. i submitted a assessment a couple days soon after recieving this PSU, but wanted to update it because i've had it for 6 months now.Corsair's the ideal. |

This power supply did not function with my ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 Motherboard. I replaced it with an additional brand and my computer system loaded Windows 7 and is running excellent. Manufacturer Response:We have worked with ASUS and have resolved this issue with our PSUs. If you have issues in the future, you will most likely need to RMA the motherboard. We are sorry you had this difficulty, let us know if we can be of any future assitance.External Link(s): Corsair Get in touch with Page| |

Amazing cost, wonderful power output. A lot more cables than you can shake a stick at. There are so numerous cables and they are so lengthy that if you don't have a large case it can be challenging to uncover a spot for them. Would be good if it was modular but for the price tag you can't beat it. |

Beautiful power provide, with 13 expertly sleeved trees emanating from the main unitɊ PCI-E 6ư pin each and every on it's own treethree SATA trees, four per tree2 molex trees, four per1 ATX ྴƲPin) tree1 EPS/ATX12V 8-Pin treeA less expensive unit just gave me a 6-pin connector on a molex adapter for the GPU.And getting the molex and sata on separate trees only tends to make sense.90The wire is excellent top quality and incredibly heavy. There's a whole lot of copper among the power provide and the connectors. This PSU does not have a four-pin ATX12V connector for the mobo, it has an only an 8 pin that does not split. Check the ATX12V requirement of your mobo, make confident you don't want a 4-pin.This psu is not modular, but that will be of little consequence on this build. All save one of the trees will be utilized, though not all the connectors will be. For the added dollars, modular just doesn't |

Its fine PSU but puts out a tiny more line noise than the OCZ 700 3 year old PSU it replaced. The noise shows up a small on the basic cable. The OCZ showed a little but not as significantly as this PSU. I have to the computer system hooked up to a Sony HDTV 32 inch. DVI to Hdmi cable. If I actually want to get into whats on television i can just shut my laptop or computer off or appear into some noise supression tricks?? I currently am utilizing one particular magnit on the power cable. |

Powerful and cool, quiet, like the wires protection quite sturdy. DOA for very first a single, shipping price me 22 dollars. Genuinely, i shouldn't have gotten this one particular. I'm only running 1 optical drive and 1 challenging drive. The amount of cables was ridiculous. I know some need it but with my case the cable management was simple. four of 5 eggs mainly because it operates wonderful.. Very first one I had was a dud, and I RMA'ed the wrong set of items. This thing price me 22 dollars in shipping and i'm going to dock an egg. Other than that, this is a very good PSU. |

CORSAIR Enthusiast Series TX950 (CMPSU-950TX) 950W Power Supply
Cons:-Nonmodular design
Pros:-Provides ample power on a 12+volt rail Comment:
Very good PSU and provides a lot of juice in order to run SLI gtx 560 Ti's, and the overclocked cpu. Though this is a very good PSU to have, the non modular design can make the wires a huge hassle to have. If you have scouted a case with a lot of room, such as the HAF 932, then this PSU should be fine. |

Excellent PSU. Has been in use powering a i7 950/GTX 480 rig for nearly three months now, with no difficulties whatsoever. A lot of connectors, which is expected from a 950W PSU. Comes with screws, case badge, two molex to floppy adapters, and a heavy duty power cable. Also consists of a good velvet bag. I use it as a hat. None. Velvet bag. |

Functions for now Tends to make a whinny noise under load.12v rail drops from 12.2 at idle to 11.95 under load. Not what I was hoping for from a 950 what corsair. The high pitch whinnying noise when under load provides me a headache unless I have my headphones on. That is the most significant problem but even even though the drop on the 12v is inside spec I have never liked it when 12v rails go below 12. Manufacturer Response:Please speak to Technical Support. The issue you have described is a prevalent one and in several situations, not the PSU. Also, 11.95v under load is excellent. The ATX specification for the 12v rail under load is ɝ%> meaning that your technique will operate perfectly from 11.4v to 12.6v. |

Comes with ALOT of cables if you do require them. This energy provide does not operate with my ASUS P7P55 WS Supercomputer motherboard. It will not POST at all ... no beeps, nothing at all. I've been building systems for 20 years and thought I had poor memory, but soon after troubleshooting Every little thing, it came down to the PS. What a piece of junk! RMA with shipping and handling is too substantially of a hassle, so I'm consuming the expense of this.Do a Google search on ASUS motherboards and Corsair Power supply compatiblity beforehand... it will save you ALOT of hassle! Bought a CoolerMaster SilentPro Gold 1000W and every little thing functions perfectly! |

Has everything you could require in a high quality power provide. I am using it in a server with 11- 1TB Western digital drives. The cable has the length required, and even comes with xtra floppy connectors if you want them. It make no noise, keeps the power to all components very stable. Nicely worth the funds they are asking. None The modular units are even higher good quality. JonnyGuru gave these units a wonderful evaluation and I agree. You cannot go wrong with these units. CWT and Corsair have raised the high quality bar in power supplies that other people will be forced to take into account. Persons want to learn that power supplies are typically overlooked but, the most essential item in a high quality develop. |
lengthy, semi-flat cables. 6 pci-e (each with their own cable). solid construction. 1 12v rail w78A on it, for cleaner, a lot more stable power. wonderful packaging, to let you know youre opening a excellent product. 5 year warranty...and excellant rma support.this PSU is at the moment powering 3 GTX 470's tri-sli, 2 tough drives, 3 optical drives, OC'd Phenom II 955 BE, and numerous LED/non LED case fans.i have a Corsiar TX 750w PSU that i applied ahead of this for over a year. it has powered 2 GTX 260's and 8800gt (Physx) combo; and most recently, two GTX 470's. tho when getting my 3rd, didnt wanna threat blowing it out. Both the TX750, and this TX950 have more than verified their worth to this point. none. hopefully it stays that way ;) i was a small skeptical about purchasing this PSU with the poor evaluations, tho most of the reviewers naturally had the ASUS P6T Deluxe V2 Motherboard. whatever reason these to products are compadible doesnt matter, it still hurts the reputation of Corsiar. items come about. theyre nevertheless a single of the best PSU manufacturers...the best in my opinion.
