Really Good cost for the amount of power you are getting. Corsair is a wonderful firm and a pleasure to function with. Regrettably, I am having significant stability complications. I am operating a 780i F.T.W mobo with a pair of GTX 260s in SLI. Everytime I play a 3D game the laptop will reboot within two to 10 minutes of gameplay. I have double checked / reconnected all cables... When I put my old Ultra 750 LSP back in...no difficulties. The Pc runs fine for hours with no difficulty. This only occurs when the 950w is installed. I might have gotten a lemon. For the gentleman who has "Awesome" in his description, it is pretty rude to tell men and women to shut up when they give an honest evaluation of the product. And no a single cares what certifications you have. I too am having some issues but still hold Corsair as a high favored business. I am merely giving my knowledge with the item. I am truly trading this one particular in for an Corsair HX850.

+ Lots of long cables to function with if you have a full sized tower.+ 950W for the value.+ Quiet. - Lots of long cables to manage if you have a mid sized tower.- The initial week or so it produced quiet, high pitched, funny sounds... but has because stopped. This was for my 1st build, and It operates good. The only factor that would have created this a great PSU for me is if it were modular. I have a Rosewill Challenger case and I had to get seriously creative as to exactly where to put all those extremely extended, additional cables. Cable management was really what took the longest for the duration of my make if that tells you anything. Nevertheless, I'd rather have too considerably than not enough.

It's packaged nicely out of the box, I think you end up paying for the pouch it comes in... For such a high rating "quality item", this power provide only comes with 1 of the 8pin 12v cables, so you need an adapter if you order a newer board that consumes other slots you might want.

Wonderful PSU for the cost. Made my Corsair so you know its gonna be superior. Worked for about six hours. Left comp on overnight and it was off when i woke up. Believed the concern was with my MOBO so i RMA'ed it.Got new MOBO in and same concern. Swapped PSU out into my old machine and absolutely nothing. Hopefully I will not get one more DOA with my RMA replacement. Genuinely hoping my RMA'ed PSU works fantastic. Corsair is a quite respectable firm and they have top quality solutions...when they function.

Stays above spec all the time. (see other thoughts)Quiet Corsair excellent and reliability.No built in floppy connectors, but 2 molex to floppy adapters. A extremely intelligent move if you ask me.OCCT3.1 read .00 ripple more than a 1 hour massive data CPU test. Don\'t forget, ripple can ultimately demolish your other hardware. None.The only con has already been mentioned numerous time. Cables, cables, cables, and when you're accomplished with those....additional cables. Be ready. I just shoved them into the bottom 2 bays of my Antec 900, and they literally fill the whole bottom to bays. But out of site out of mind. :) I know my program barely makes use of this power supply. My old Antec Correct Power 550 wouldn't stay above 12.00v unless it was completely idle. The fan in no way went more than 800RPM (out of 1400 I assume) but it just couldn't maintain the voltage. This 1 is rock solid. As noted although, my system isn't precisely pushing this factor for juice.What else can I say. If you do your homework these are some of the greatest power supplies on the market. You can go cheaper (like the OCZ's) but you have to wonder why they are so much less expensive. Functions excellent when they operate. Lots of connectors. Still plenty of room in my Tai-Chi case. 1st one d.o.a. Had to rma to Corsair, replacement functions flawlessly I hate rma's.

Well built will stable power. With the windows 7 benchmark this elevated my CPU score. So I would say it is cleaner power coming out then from low cost PSU's Lots of cables. Not genuinely a con but you need a location to stick the extras, so program ahead.

Effective, quiet operation. Voltages are exceptional. A lot of connectors, cable sheathing. Stays good and cool for the duration of operation. None thus far. With as a lot of cables as this PSU has, I would not suggest a smaller case. However, the buyer is most likely searching at this PSU simply because of the significant number of devices in his or her case and therefore almost certainly has a bigger case regardless.

Tons of connectors and long wires. High amp 12V rail. Worked perfect because i initial powered it on. NONE... There is a lot of cabling so you may possibly have trouble acquiring a place to put all the spare wires. Must not detract from the awesomeness of this energy provide.

This is the best brand I have built 6 computers with this brand and its the best one that never goes bust! So stable and quiet and it is the best quality for price too. Definitely the brand to get for power supplies and everything else!

Runs very stable. No power fluxs. Don't seems to have any difficulties with anything. A little high priced, but undoubtedly worth it. I did a lot of research on the web about power supplies and even this one doesn't have a 5 star rating from New Egg it is a wonderful power supply. It is not modular but if you are routing your cables behind the rear side panel it makes no matter. All and all price per watt and the reality it is single 12V rail makes up for what ever it is lacking. Oh and cheese sandwich.

Great Power supply! I have three of these and none have but given me a sign of failure. I've had plenty of Power Supplies blow, taking out Motherboards, Ram and when 3 HDD. Good Price, Reliability, and much more than enough to connections to support a full triple sli config. Just amazing none

If it worked perhaps I could post one thing here.Very good paper weight Never ever worked considering that the day I got it. RMA'd it back to Corsair and guess what, the new PSU didn't worked correctly either. I feel they re-packaged the busted 1 and shipped it back. Now I have to pay for shipping Once again for a third power supply. Will in no way buy Corsair once more if I can support it. Right after trying to contact consumer service, I feel as although they have began to ignore the challenge. The least they could do was compensate me for shipping on the 1st return, and now the second return. Possibly if customer service would essentially respond to me, I would not be so ill about the circumstance. I would rather spend my dollars with a different corporation exactly where they essentially care about their shoppers and ship working goods.Would have given eggs if it was potential. Two broken power supplies from a supposedly "reliable" corporation is unacceptable.Been a Corsair fan for a whilst but poor enterprise brings a bad reputation. Basically impressive, quite heavy. All cables (tons of them) are in protective sleeves. With this power supply I really feel I am set for life. Comes in a black fancy felt bag LOL. Corsair, skip the bag and give us a discount.

Supports everything I have thrown at it and has not complained. Enough connections to energy just about every little thing in the case, nice to have alternatives. None so far Make sure your case is significant sufficient to store/hide the unused connections. Like trying to stuff a five lb octopus into a shot glass

Bought a new PSU since my old one died. Got this one to make sure I will be able to upgrade my computer without getting a new PSU. So far no complaints.
