Performs effectively Price... 1 significantly less for this. the GeIL 4GB operates similar, except for the cas purchased two of these and 2 - GeIL Value PLUS 4GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model GVP34GB1600C9SC.Poped in each Corsair & GeIL in M4A79T Deluxe and to test it out and works good @ 1600... no OC needed. left 2 - Corsair and 1 GeIL in M4A79T Deluxe (Total 12GB @ 1600, cas eight, ungage). 1 - 4 GB Corsair and two - 1GB Balistic 1333 in GA-MA790FX-DS5 (Total 6GB @ 1333, cas 7, ungage)

Very stable in my method at advertised settings. You usually spend more when you purchase something than you could have at a later time, as usually. Not the end of the world. Other than that, none. Not interested in overclocking the memory.Bought this to replace Ballistix RAM that was advertised at a slower speed, with tighter timings at a (much) higher voltage that under no circumstances ran accurately, and numerous RMA's to manufacturer didn't resolve the issue. Said MFR refused to acknowledge an concern with that kit, so I switched to Corsair. Incredibly pleased with my decision, and will never do company with the other organization yet again.

1600mhz with cas of 7, 1333mhz cas of 6, and 1066 with cas of 5. got it to 2000mhz with cas of 9. rapidly ram, stable. can't complain. none buy it. i got two and am quite pleased.

This RAM kit is NOT a triple channel certified kit for use with Intel series motherboards. It's specificially a one off kit.Nevertheless, that being mentioned, I buy 6 of these an installed them in my Gigabyte X58A-UD5 motherboard without having problem. This RAM works in triple channel configurations with out concern at standard RAM timings. (Using the SPD setup and then configuring the BIOS for turbo or extreme timings).The ram has Very agressive timings, which I have however to see in any other modules. I don't truly have an cons. Given that the RAM was intending to single module installations, additional than likely, it's fairly impressive that it works in triple channel mode without having problems.
