I bought this 8gb kit for my latest build that featured an Asus P7P55D Deluxe Motherboard and an Intel i5-750. Plugged it in and it fired right up. I've been using Corsair Ram for 5 years or so and it's always been good stuff. |

Great Memory Set for Intel Core i7 Processor
Comment:
I purchased this 8 GB set with hopes that it will be a better memory than the OCZ PC3-12800 Gold RAM - 4GB, 2x2GB, 1600MHz, DDR3, Low Voltage, Dual Channel(2 Sets)that I purchased because it was at a lower price. Wrong choice because the OCZ memory was not that compatible with my Asus motherboard even do OCZ says that it is the perfect memory for the Asus board. OCZ sorry to say this. It is not the perfect memory for the Intel Core i7 processor. Believe me the Corsair 8GB set worked without a problem from the get go. I installed this set in an Asus P7P55 WS Super computer Motherboard together with an Intel Core i7 860 2.80 ghz and it is working great!!! You will not go wrong with this memory set. |

Workd great
Comment:
I read concerns that 8GB would not clock as fast as 4GB. Using the auto over clocking features of an ASUS P7P55D Delux motherboard I got the same speeds with 4 and 8 GB or RAM. I got close to 1600 MHz with the automatic settings. Most applications don't need 8GB but it will surely help with gaming and video work. |

I purchased this Corsair XMS3 CMX8GX3M4A1600C9 8GB DDR3 4X2GB about a month ago and I am very pleased with the result. lots of RAM for my win7-64bit system and able to overclock my i5-760 with very stable results.I have nothing bad to say, Corsair quality shines.
