Bought one of these recently for an office machine, the external hdd dock really made transferring data from a dead laptop to the new desktop a lot smoother. Fairly cheaply made, but for a machine that isn't going anywhere anything beyond tinfoil is fine. The dust filters and excellent airflow should help keep temps down between maintenances.
