This saved me money! I used this to adapt my PS3 to my 22'' Samsung LCD monitor for 1080p. The PS3 recognized it right away and it works great. Be sure that your display is HDCP compliant if you use it for the same purpose. The ball joint in this adapter has spring loaded detent balls so it stays in place, a nice little addition. Highly recommend!
