I have been using this 7 port hub for about 3 weeks. I have a Sony Vaio and the ports on it are at the front of laptop and plugged in accessories get in the way, so I always use a hub. The hub works great! The only thing I could not run was a CDrom drive, internal type, that I have on an adapter cable. I didn't think it could run it from the begining so I am not disapointed. Right now I have my Epson printer (RX680), bluetooth fob, 300 gig external HD, wireless keypad fob, Smart card reader, and creative mosaic mp3 player plugged in and it works great. I also have the hubs external power hooked up. I don't know if that would make a difference or not. This hub is great. I took it on the road last week traveling and it was nice not having to worry if it got broke because it is small, metal and tough! When I need a another hub, I will definatley buy another one of these!

I expected a powered hub to provide enough power for external USB hard disk drives, but this one doesn't.

This is the first multi-port USB 2.0 hub that I have purchased, and I am very pleased that I chose this one. It works like a charm; it feels and is solid since it is constructed of metal rather than plastic. The hub has given me the extra USB 2.0 ports I need, and I find the speed to be just fine.

I have bought about 20 over the past year and they rock. They are designed well, durable, nothing cheap about it. I really like the fact that it is constructed out of metal instead of plastic.

I've got this product a couple months ago and been loving it ever since. My computer has only 6 USB ports on it so the extra 7 really saved space in the back, every single USB port has worked perfectly ever since i plugged it in, I also love that it has a metal casing instead of cheaper USB buses that have cheap plastic that break easily. It's a great product and haven't had any problems with it whatsoever. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

If you expect to get 7 ''powered'' USB ports you are sadly mistaken. It's OK to plugin a memory stick. It will NOT work with a USB VGA adapter or keyboard or pretty much everything else.

This hub has been working well for me. I bought it to replace an unpowered 4 port hub. I like the mounting bracket that allows me to keep it on the bottom side of my desk. The bright blue LED could be a bit annoying but I don't mind it, it gives an interesting ambiance to the underside of my desk! And the great thing is that, while it is mounted, it is easily removed for portability if need be.

This Has To Be One Of the most Versitle USB Hubs i have ever owned. I Ended up doing a little Modification w/ the mounting bracket in order to put a larger Bolt in it and bolted it to the back of my Computer Towerand BAM!!! 7 Easy To Acesses USB 2.0 Ports. If You Can Do A Little bit of fabrication w/ the mounting bracket theirs nothing you can't do w/ it!!! THIS IS A AWSOME PRODUCT AND HIGHLY RECOMEND IT For Desktop Users.
